  1. Add SilentNW and Lowrider71 for $50.00 Good luck on the auction.
  2. what if someone compiled a list from everyone wanting cans and what they would pay.... say 10 - 30cal ammo cans for upto $3.00 each.... or $30.00. Then we could look for auctions/sales within price range rather than last minute. All we would have to figure out would be delivery options, and a huge pizza event would/could fix that..... Just thinking pro-active..... (yes, unlike myself normally).....
  3. Lowrider71 and I will take $50.00 (25 cans).
  4. Mr. W7WT and Mrs. W7WT... Congrats & thank you. What a great defination of Geocaching. So many times I read about complaints or people pointing their fingers.... but to have a rewarding experience with memories and being able to share that, I am glad I read your post. Looking forward to meeting you both someday. SilentNW
  5. WOW, while talking with my brother Lowrider71, we noticed that Prying Pandora captured thirty-five hundred at Point of View. Big Congrats!
  6. Stories?? Pictures? Anything exciting or unusual?
  7. Having met Cent5 on several occasions and reading about his very generous contributions to the sport, I feel bad about how this is getting blown way overboard. First: Thank you, Cent5, for sharing. Second: Sorry for any angst a few people have, maybe jealous. Hey this is just a game, right? Some win more than others. Please do not let this stop any further 'fun' you may bring... Third: Have a good time with the ACD crew and send best wishes to our fellow cachers in Big AK. Yes I wish I could go, but I do hope you guys will share all the stories, like: "Drive it like it was stolen" or "Hey there is a Moose" or "we crashed on the floor with Internet Access" Maybe post an event for everyone. Share pictures/stories. I would try to make that one.... even carpool if possible.
  8. I second that. This is an enjoyable excursion that I wish I could attend, but will settle for as much information/pictures/stories as possible. If you need server space to share photos, lemme know. Please keep us posted on everything.
  9. This time next week.....? Are you guys making this another cache-n-dash or "few here and there with milestones"??
  10. We scouted this out.... too bad we have to log a DNF. EraSeek's Toy
  11. Is this a solicitation for geocoins? Groundspead forum guidelines attached.... http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?act=boardrules "Commercial Postings/Solicitations are not allowed. Commercial content as a direct or indirect (either intentional or non-intentional) attempt to solicit customers through a forum post will be edited or deleted. Notwithstanding the above, Groundspeak reserves the right to include limited commercial content in this Forum, in its sole discretion." Just asking everyone to follow the rules. Not trying to offend.
  12. I am sorry if I offended anyone.
  13. well... being self-employed, I asked my boss for the time off... he gave it to me.... What a guy!!!! Now I have to ask wifey..... argh, wish me luck!?!? Hope all can make it, it was quite the memorable trip for you guys. Still feel alittle envious....
  14. If ACD member Lowrider71 cannot go ( I'll make sure he does ) .... dubs on his seat??
  15. I can see alot of very good caches are going to go away. Although I can see why this is happening, I do not think this going to improve the reputation of "geocaching"... in fact, I can see many more cons vs. any of the pros..... Many questions come to mind... When/Where will be able to bring these questions up? at the next WSGA meeting? State Parks Commission Meetings? I am sorry, I do not want to start 'rant' sessions.... I do see that 'we' just lost control of our caches and activities in state parks.

That is 4000 dots... imagine finding that many caches? and people say I have no life. Seriously, congrats to you all, we all look up to you!
  17. What are the possible dates? on Saturdays?
  18. Lowrider71 and I were caching in Eastern WA last month near Vantage, found this little fella. He made it very clear that he did not want us "surprising" him.
  19. bump and still interested.....
  20. Did anyone see that commercial where this guy takes his dog into the vet.... as the vet is finishing with the animal, the guy asks about the dogs frequent bladder troubles in his pants? The Vet looks puzzled and quotes "in his pants"..... I have a friend of a friend, who's friend's friend geocaches as her friend's friend and logs it as her own. Do I get credit?
  21. Hmmm.... Looks like (GC13DC) Ebey Bluffs this weekend. Does anyone know the weather forcast? I see rain, but that is my luck lately....
  22. How about a hard one? I mean "The Hardest Cache You'll Ever do"......
  23. To make a short story long, every year near my birthday I sum up my past year's goals and accomplishments. Amazingly, the TODO list is getting longer, not shorter... imagine that. On the list for a few years now was the fact that I have enjoyed too much of my wife's good cooking and sitting watching sports... but this is gonna change on my b-day, again this year! Right. Last year while looking at some old emails, I remembered this site: geocaching.com.... but cannot remember my password. Quickly figure that one out and wanted to know more... as it approached midnight, my wife called to ask if I am coming home... (ya know, self employed, work longer hours, get paid much less). I knew what I had to do.... After a few calls the next day, I found out that not only am I a Garmin/Magellan distributor, I can get them within two days. Voila, two ordered. Now to spring the trap.... Called my brother, Lowrider71, to let him know about the adventure we were about to take. Told him that I had good/bad news..... good news, I figured out my new diet, bad news, it included him. About 10 months now and I have number 500 in my site. My brother however has been blessed on this trip, not only has he gotten to travel and cache, he won a trip to Alaska on The Great Alaska Cache & Dash. He is targeting 600 as we speak. I have enjoyed caching for three main reasons, hiking and traveling around the state to places I missed or vaguely remember visiting growing up here in the Pacific Northwest. Secondly, it absolutely warms my heart to hear a little voice announce that they "Got it!" or "Found it!"... from an experienced cacher or a child out for the first time. Lastly, meeting the good people who love the outdoors as much as I do, adventuresome and clever as they may be, wanting to do or share more. I love being an American with all the freedoms and blessings I have living in God's Country.
