  1. What an awesome idea. I need to read these forums more often - I feel like I am missing out on all the cool stuff.
  2. I geocache with my kids and they always love to find some sort of toys. I assume that there are other young geocachers out there so I try to carry some simple toys: balls, little cars, sparkly plastic jewelry - stuff like that from the dollar store. My kids are always very excited to see stuff like that.
  3. A HAZMAT suit and a bottle of green jello can go a long way. If you have a newer GPS or a PDA then you can make it beep like a Geiger counter
  4. I have used a PN-20 with a friend a couple times. It sure is a lot easier than with my 6-year old GPS that requires me to enter each cache by hand. He just grabs all the caches in an area and throws them on a SD card. You even get the hints if you end up needing them in the field. Not that any of us ever actually need any hints or anything...
  5. I am under the impression that cell service is not required for the GPS to work. The iPhone can use a cell signal to improve the accuracy of your location (like when you are in a building), but it uses actual GPS when possible.
