I appreciate all the support and all. I was far more upset last week than I am now. I do understand why they took the extra precautions... and I do understand that this close to the elections in todays post 9/11 world theya re far more worried about such things. BUT I think they are making much ado about nothing. As per the advice of a lawyer. (also a retired police officer all in one.) I am not going to go forward. Just go on doing what I do and not worry about them. He basically said to ignore it all and just be happy!

I want to thank all of you who are showing support. And giving good advice. I truly appreciate it.

I can't be certain but that is how the letter read they sent home. I'll try to scan it or take a picture of it for all to see. I am afraid to send an "educational letter" to them as then they will know it was me. And I remember reading about one particular fellow who had to go to court and was fined for having his blown up. (read it once upon a time int he CVC forums)

Well I got a call from a friend of mine who picks up my child from school. He brought home a note that stated that the Modesto Bomb Sqaud (despite it being competely marked stating it was a geocache complete with the web address) decided to blow up the cache even though they KNEW what it was! I will scan and post the note later for all to see. So no one more will get the chance to hunt out Lion's Pride

I tried translating it but it didn't quite work out. came up with some jarbled mess fromt he website that translated it for me. the translaters are too literal! Per http://babelfish.altavista.com Bad translation if you ask me. That is what I used to translate it. and that is the translation I got. now you know what I didn't understand it!!! HAHA

Just got back last friday from Mexico and spending 6 days in Beautiful Cabo San Lucas!!!! Great partying and relaxation etc going on down there!!!! Also got to do My first international cache! There was another one I wanted to do but I barely had time for 1!!!!!

I'll bite. Pogeybait? We used to use pogeybait in the Marines. Used to call all those that didn't have real jobs. (you know the desk types) used to call them Pogues. and said they were all fat and happy from Pogeybait.

Target has them for about $80.00 and they usually have them in stock. I noticed that our local Target has removed the GPS section altogether. I think Target maybe be phasing out GPS sales. --Marky Ours doesn't have a gps section but they have the yellow etrex in with the camping supplies etc.

Tim and I had been discussing one. However we are trying to match our calendars up on this one.... As we both have a lot of work travels and vacationing coming up. So we might not get to do it until late December or January. So with that said if anyone wants to step up to the plate earlier than that let me know and I am mroe than willing to help with the planning!!!

That would be very fun indeed and I think Muh Lil' Wifey and I would have fun but we will be in Cabo San Lucas on that day. (and for the entire week actually!) and speaking of... has anyone been and know of the most important caches to do? I won't have too much time... No way. I can assure you, Hemlock is of the highest of integrity. There's no way he ever uses his position to get the upper hand. In fact, I'll go as far as to say he handicaps himself so there's no appearance of cheating as well. On the other hand, Hemlock is thorough. Too thorough as he's often corrected ''error's'' that I've made on my caches... even when they where not by mistake. Now here's the delema as I see it. I have no baseball knowledge but do have a car. CacheCow's got the know-how but no way to get there. [isn't life tough?!] So I'm seeing - in the near future - my phone ringing with a comprimize. Coordinates shared and ride provided. Sounds like a good deal, right? But now who's saying I'm getting the correct coords? Could it be that I'm going to be mislead, lost a little while the little one swoops in for the FTF!? Maybe. Maybe not. [Yes, life is tough!] Not what I was saying at all Bill. I am not saying that he was already solving it. I was jsut figuring that he let someone else to the approving so that he wouldn't have already seen the coordinates. That's all. Cuz I know if I was an approver I woulnd't want to appriove a code cache (now that you got me hooked on them) because I would want the pleasure and satisfaction of figuring them out myself. What? Puzzles? Me? Why, don't mind if I do! I know almost nothing about baseball so if I get FTF, it will only be due to the competition. (I'm hoping right now the ladies know less and the guys are too busy - LOL). Last time I was at a ball game... well, not that long ago thanks to $ATM$ whom got tickets way closer than most real fans. [i was embarrassed.] well it is taking a little longer to get approved than I thought.... sorry for getting your hopes up. I hid it on Saturday and posted it Sunday but no go as of yet. I'm sure Hemlock deferred it to someone else so he can solve and find it which is probably why it has been delayed. As I have not gotten any notes for it.
