I got a couple of emails... let me just clarify. one does not ahve to be overly active in tis to make it work. They don't even have to be alwqys watching. You jsut need to know which direction youa re to move the TB and take it and move it in that direction. If for instance youa re caching in Stockton and the bug is there then fee free to drop it in another cache in Stockton that same day.
Hopefully this will help all who are looking into this.

You know I was wondering why hew had the 2 billion candle power light pointing at my face and was asking what I was doing the afternoon of September 17th!
Oh, that light had to be held by Ryan Tek (aka, Landing Light Lad). He introduced us to his shoulder strapped 'flashlight' at Wait Until Dark. Shortly into the night hike, the FAA had to detour traffic so they'd stop taking their final approach towards the fire-flies.
I'm telling you, that kid's got a light that you can weld metal with.Good to know that Ryan and Ted are on your case.
I remember that flashlight from the WUDstock event.... However I thought it was Peter who had it.. Don't know... Memory is one of the first things to go in ones old age!!! (atleast my wife keeps telling me I am old!)

I forgot to mention that there will be an end of game party
for all of us who played. (OK we'll allow others to play also!!!) But that date will be determined by when we get this game going!Also this is my official Declaration t be part of Team Even as a February Baby.

OK Here you go. I have decided we need something else to create a little fun competition here in te Central Valley.
I present to you Central Valley Cacher's Football
The rules are located on the Travel Bug's page. (easier than putting them all here I think.)
I am open to a few more rules suggestions. I am also asking anyone that wants to play to declare their team here. The teams will be divided by birth month. If you were born in an odd month then youa re part of team odd. If an even month then you are part of team even.
Team Odd will be January, March, May, July, September, & November.
Team Even will be February, April, June, August, October, & December
Team names ca be changed later if we want... but odd & even makes it easy to remember for now.
I have determined a northern endzone alreay it will be Here's Looking At You-Travel Bug Hotel GCNZE5 I am still working on permission for the southern endzone.
I will also need a couple few players to join me as part of a rules committee incase there are any questionable things during the game that will need any decisions. As I will be also playing I don't want anyone to sa that my decision is in favor of team even (Since I am a February Birthday and will be part of Team Even)
What say you all.....

Finally got to go out and use my dusty GPS this weekend. Just did 4 but it was nice to get out again for a change.
The wife had to work so it gave me an excuse to druve up to Stockton also. Just spent a couple of hours. AND ran into Ted of Ted andRosa also at the first cache I was doing.

I would imagine that you need t talk to Groundspeak about the activation code..... I don't know about that.
BUT as for the bug sheet. If you go to that bug's page, Near the top right there is a box that has items sch as log entry, calculate distance, edit item, the bottom of the 5 choices is "print bug sheet" click on that and it gives you one for it.

Well there are a few places you can buy coins from.... BUT mostly you just have to watch this forum and look for the new ones as they are released.
you can look through some of the topics here now and find the ones that are still accepting orders.

Very sad tonight...A lady was struck by lightnening not too far from our home tonight. One of the students from our childrens' high-school performed CPR unil the medics arrived...edited...She is reported to be in critical condition.
I heard all of the sirens and such.... My kids and I were outside when one of the lightning strikes hit and the noise was crashing and the lightning was literally right above us....... I knew that it was one of several that were very near our neighborhood...... I think our power was out for about 2 hours or so.....
My hats off to those young adults that stepped in and helped out in a very urgent time of need.
I saw it on the news this morning that was the first that I had heard that anyone had been hit.

Old house? Our's turns 70 next year! Anybody remember knob and post wiring?
I think one of our last contractors we hired still uses that!
(He didn't even turn off the power when installing he new lighting / fans, etc... 
That explains why I got shot across the garage last week when installing that ceiling fan?!?!?!?!?!?!

How about a global geocoin?
I grabbed an image from Google Earth, added some text and got:

Just to get the creative juices going.
Take this idea and fly with it!
I came up with this idea, and it is just an idea so far, to make a coin that would meet the needs of the many, not just the few. As one "bugger" put it, some states don't have a coin. There is a USA, Canada, German and EU coin. I'm just looking out for the rest of the world. Yes, there may be a "glut" of geocoins out there. And that is unforunate. I collect coins too, but I also have put USA, Texas and three different kinds of California geocoins in caches (five in a new cache I placed Murphy TB/Geocoin Hotel Cache).
I am just putting the idea out there. If people are interested in the idea and someone (like GC.com) wanted to make the coin, great!
I added a tracking # and trackable part after the "what is a geocoin" remark
. If this coin came out, I would get extras to place in caches. I think that around 2,000 - 3,000 of these coins should be made, although I doubt that would happen. If we make so many of these coins that the collectors are satisfied, maybe we can get some in some caches and moving around the world.
Wouldn't that be cool.
Heck... That would be the real purpose of a geocoin!

No additions to the house, just a whole lot of changing going on.
Getting ready to do a bunch of that ourselves actually..... We have been getting bids etc for the past 4 months and finally are about ready to do it all. Landscaping... (yes finally fixing that darned yard!
) Painting, Garage, Cabinets, Heat and A/C, Water heater, and windows.All to be done in the next few months.... So jsut about the time yours get's done we should be starting ourselves!

Might be but knowing his trickiness it is probably not the bvious one. Probably one of the lug nuts or something like that! Plus it will be a multi where you ahve to find the keys to the tractor elsewhere and then use them to unlock the glove box to get the tool for the lugnut.
(hopefully I didn't just give you all an idea!!! )
