Hey, I found out about Geocaching yesterday and I already found three caches using my phone. I have noticed that in most of the promotional material, youtube videos and discussions people use external GPS devices. My question is why? The GPS device in phone (at least mine) is very accurate, it's fast, convenient and most people these days have phones (I.E you don't need to pay for another device). The biggest advantage IMO is not needing to use a computer every time you want to add coordinates to your external GPS device. Are there any points that I have missed? I'm really puzzled by this.
