if one is looking for a particular geocoin can we post requests for purchase/trade here? Have tried cointracking.com and it has never worked for me...people either do not respond to requests or they email back with "I dont know if I still have that coin"...makes me wonder why then when one does a search and it clearly says "available" beside the coin, that it is still listed as available? thanks and cheers

Once you get started, it gets much easier, and that makes it more fun! Also, not a paid announcement, but I enjoy the membership sine it has a few features that make it more useful, but you can totally enjoy the hobby without it good luck, cheers

sorry, I do not understand the purpose of the "beta team"...isnt that exactly what the FTF person does? Seems like having it both ways...if one tells their friends where it is before it is published then that is just not the same as if say I went after it, having no previous knowledge of the cache. It seems silly, I mean, we might as well go together and after you set the cache down, then I pick it up, sign the log and claim FTF...there really is no difference from doing that way than a "beta tester". But, as mentioned before, it is your cache an dno one can question what you do with it...and FTF only really matters to the person that found it, unless there is somewhere that having a FTF gets a free Happy Meal? cheers

So I read how to change the avatar on the forum and how to add a picture on the my profile page, but on the "My account" page, in the upper right corner always shows the "signal frog" (also on the "my friends" page)...how does one change that to something more personal? thanks and sorry if this has been previously answered...did a "search" and it came up with over a 1,000 hits and none of the ones I perused were relevant...and I did check the FAQ pages as well.
