I am interested in a Colorado coin if anyone would like to trade.

Having done many of the Civil War geocaches in Gettysburg and also those in other places (even here in little St. Mary's Co, MD) I have to say I'd be very interested in those coins. I am a bit bias though, I was born and raised in Richmond, VA and you kinda grow up with reminders of the Civil War all around you there. They look great, nice work!! Put me down for 1 of each (looks like there are 4 in the set correct?).

Here's the latest info I have... the coin proof is in development and it looks like coins will be available first week of March. That's a bit of a slip, but the schedule has been tough to pin down. As before, everyone on the "reserve list" will be e-mailed a password for a presale prior to the geocoins being available to everyone. Ive tried to keep up with the list so just let me know if something is not correct. The coin will have its own icon, but we are still working on that. The pirate just isn't cutting it. If you want to trade please let me know. There are only about 10 regular and 40 LE (antique copper) SoMDCacherz geocoins remaining for trades. Only 500 coins are being made, and 50 of those are LE. When I get more info from "the store", I'll let you know! Thanks everybody!!

If anyone is interested in trading for a SoMDCacherz geocoin, please let me know. You can view my list on cointracking.com. I still have about 10 regular SoMDCacherz geocoins available (antique silver) and about 40 of the limited edition (antique copper).

I at least have mine in a binder now - thanks to Robert for bringing me coin shop stuff. You'd have a hard time finding that where I live. Right now they are just divided into trackables and.... other Dancing Fool: that is a nice set up!!

HI, here's the BIG update for the SoMDCacherz Geocoin... I decided to start a new thread to avoid confusion with old info (like price). If it has the opposite effect I am sorry! The coins should be on sale at the "store" on or around February 16th. They will cost $7.50 plus S/H. Only 400 will be sold and once they are gone that's it. The folks at the "store" are working out a way now for me to link directly to the "coin sale". I would imagine that the actual sale date would be posted at their web site some time soon. The list I have so far for coin reservations is below! Those with a reservation will be provided a password for a presale before the coins are available to all. I am generally holding off on trades until we complete the sale and I actually have coins in hand. The coin artwork is off for final touchup and should be ready to go in a few days. It has not had any changes from what we originally had (except a small text issue). The coins will be made of a base metal of either brushed nickel or antique silver. Sorry, I don't know what is happening with e-mail at home. Even though I've been turning McAfee off I am still getting a little pop up box that tells me that the mail was not sent. I thought I had responded to everyone. We're expecting our first child any time now so things are also just a little nuts because of that too. I am actually just keeping track because after the all the coins are sold, that's it, there are no more to be minted. I didn't want anyone to miss out if they really wanted one. Not really an issue yet, but it could be. There can be a password protected "presale" from the other site for those who have reserved coins. Hope this helps.

Just to let everyone know, the artwork has been updated! Not a major change, but I agree that it looks better! Still taking orders............... I hope to be able to let everyone know the exact price of the coin very soon, but it looks like we'll definitelly be able to drop it by about a buck based on what I got back from the developer yesterday.
