  2. Yea very nice I'd definitely want at least one set in ant silver.
  3. email sent for 1 gold and 2 of whatever the other finish is, pewter, nickle, silver, titanium. does not matter much it's a nice looking coin, and if avroair is in I guess I gotta keep up with the jonessss.
  4. You cannot possibly expect a cache owner to know what happens to every trackable that goes through a cache. It is not like we sit out and babysit our caches. I have placed 60 caches so that would be a little hard to do... The inventory shows what is in a cache and when a coin is taken and logged it disappears from the inventory, so there really is no need to put a note on the cache page that you grabbed it. Just because you saw it before you left to grab it does not mean it will be there when you get to the cache. Someone else may get it before you. However if you are talking about coins still being in the inventory but not physically in the cache that is unacceptable. Your post does not sound like that though, sound like you expect a trackable to still be present when you arrive and if not it is the cache owners responsibility to know. Up here in norhern DE, coins go fast but generally do not disappear out of caches at least not by our group. We have spent 1000's of dollars of our own money to get coins back into caches so new cachers can have the oppurtunity to find them, and it really ticks me off when they are stolen. I even put out 25 unactivated coins in the last 6 months so others would have a chance to own one. I do understand the frustration you feel, we all do at sometime but be patient and learn the habits of your fellow cachers. If getting to see some of the nicer coins is all your looking for, or wanting to log them let me know I can accomadate that request for you. Sometimes it takes a newbie to get us old heads to go OOPS, maybe I need to start leaving notes about trackables in the logbooks. However I will never log it on the webpage as the inventory clearly shows when a trackable is gone, and who took it really makes no difference it still ain't there when I get there. I'll post something in the local forum regarding this, so you don't bombarded again by people like me who misunderstand your post.
  5. I never log either on the site or in the log book when I take a coin or a bug. When I grab it it disappers from the cache inventory so whats the big deal? Go look at the cache page before you leave to get it.
  6. Mine is PA tag: TNLNSL Don't care if anyone knows what it means Other cachers will know.
  7. This is getting ridiculous! 3 days now I have been unable to get on the site! or at least intermintently. maybe it's time to start a renegade site.... Just kiddin, but my patience is wearing thin with this problem.
  8. Ok I guess it's time for me to chime in on this. Waymarking sux, who cares about every stupid thing in every little town in the USA. I see waymarks for everything from bars to who knows what. I can't be bothered with having to log into 2 different sites to find interesting things. Alot of earthcaches are in areas where no physical container can be located at, or where someone like me would not place a container. I for one don't care one way or the other but as has been stated hundreds of times before, everyone has their own way of playing the game. If you don't like a certain kind of cache, don't do it! The Virts and locationless caches where getting way out of hand, like I don't give a big rotten apple about logging a fire truck, or a cab, or some other common everyday thing. Earthcaches are supposed to take an individual to a unique feature created by mother nature, and help us learn about the earth.
  9. I just got one in a cache in Delaware, YIPPPPEEEEEEE!
  10. I was lucky enough to get one 2 weeks before they went on sale but I need 2 more if anyone wants to trade for something. And no they will not end up on ebay! they are for christmas for 2 grandaughters who are costing me a mint in coins!
  11. neeto keen..... I just ordered tue and yes that is a proper spelling of 2 Of course I HAVE to have at least 1 in my collection
  12. wierd, I paid really early and never had a problem. No emails from paypal or anything. I have used them for a long time and I even get questioned if I take in alot of invoices at once. But I guess they have to CYA too. Anyway I got my coins this week and they look great. Nice job Ben, thanks alot.
  13. I am truly sorry to hear of your ill fortune and now feel like a big A**. You should have came in and posted that you had a problem, no specifics just an update. It is obvious that you have good friends who would help you in a pinch. Geocachers in general are good people and come together to help in times of need, I've seen it alot in my 3 1/2 years caching. Thanks for the updates, and thanks to Jodi for stepping up to help out. I wish you well and hope prosperity shines brightly on your future endeavors. Your coin will hold a special place in my collection
  14. I contacted GC.com and other sites involved Paypal etc. I got action At the site where I purchased it and thru PP. GC told me they do not get involved, the seller is a "Well known cacher" Big deal the pope is well known too, and that there was little chance I was being scammed. Maybe not scammed but definitely ripped off. (personal attack removed by moderator), no response to many many emails, no coins no refund. This transaction has soured me totally on buying coins from anyone I do not personally know ever again. I believe in Karma and I hope Karma turns around and bites this cacher right in the A**. A nice audit from the IRS for unclaimed income would be nice, watch for the notice dillweed.
  15. Now this A**h*** has blocked emails from the cointracking site where they sold the coins
  16. I have emailed these people 4 times and keep getting lame a** responses such as it'll be mailed,it's on the way the post office..... I have contacted GC.com, paypal, and the cointraking site regarding this matter and I suggest anyone else who has not recieved thier coins do the same. Mcdoodles posted a coins recieved post on April 15th. It is now June. Perhaps Mcdoodle should've stayed home from GW4 and mailed our dadgum coins! People who can't handle the job shouldn't do the job!
  17. I know if my coins are not here by Friday I am lodging a complaint with paypal. I was told 3 weeks ago they were in the mail. sounds like crap to me!
  18. I just don't activate my coins anymore
  19. What is a mystery puzzle coin?
  20. I am going to try to get 4 of these and would trade one for one of yours.
  21. doesn't look like much activiy here, but I would definitely be willing to buy in bulk. anywhere from from 25-100 coins at a time depending on the coin.
  22. I have been logging on at 4 am est everyday for 3 days and keep getting those same error messages
  23. I guess I am also a cache cop because I will not think twice about posting a SBA if I think a cache is somewhere it should not be. I found a cache in NJ that was uncomfortably close to a power plant, so I posted an SBA, and got ripped in the forums and by email. But if someone called the police because some strange individual with a gps and backback was lurking near the plant, that could be disastorous to our hobby. If all cacher just used common sense when placing caches and posting them on the site (myself included) we would not have to worry about it.
  24. I prefer to cache alone so that way when I fall off the side of the 125 ft cliff I was scaling to get a MICRO cache , I don't have to hear my non cachin woman sayin "See I told you not to climb up there". Besides I like the peas and quiet
  25. Any race track is fun place to visit, dog track , horse track, indianapolis motor speedway, even the local bmx racing track is cool.
