My goal for the year is to go geocaching in three States I have never cached in... So far, I have hit two out of the three... That leaves me the rest of the year to get to the third one...

???!!! I still can't retrieve my activation codes from Landsharkz (as of late Sunday night). I'll try again tonight, then it might be time for an e-mail to figure out what's up? tokencollector... they are there for sure. I don't think CAPS makes a difference (I'll have to test that for sure ). I wonder if you're not clicking the 'press to enter' button. That's the click that puts the coin code in the column on the right and triggers the search of the database. After you enter all your coins (clicking 'press to enter' after each one)... then you enter your email and click done. This series has a custom activation code though... for all 2000+ I bow to the experts on this one... I thought it was the CAPS...

Lighting a candle before taking off for the weekend...

I live in/near Silicon Valley for 40 years, moved to upstate NY about 13 years ago and don't especially have a desire to go back. While living in San Jose took a similar crazy trip but didn't turn around until I was in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. I hope you had as much fun on your trip as we had on ours. We only had 24 hours to get there and get back. We had lots of fun, laughs, and memories. I'm trying to do The Four Corners this summer (Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona). I hope you have a great time when you go - and you let us know where you decide to go. Happy Caching!!

When I started caching - it was an excuse to get out of the house and have some "Over The Edge" fun with my buddies... That hasn't changed, and I hope it never will...

I love geocaching in Northern California (Silicon Valley)... but if presented with this situation, I would fly to Portland Oregon and visit the "Original Cache Stash"... You would be able to visit lots of caches AND you will be so close to Washington, you could catch a few caches in Washington before heading back to the airport. I was lucky enough to live this crazy trip this year with my college buddy who introduced me to geocaching.

WOW!! It's awesome! Will there be a matching pin?
