  1. FYI to all - the "onlick" feature for the <div> tag I have mentioned prior is not a script function that TPTB were trying to override per a PM from the TPTB. Below is part of that PM that was sent to me yesterday afternoon around 3pm EST. Hope that helps and is an encouragement to others as well.
  2. Help is on the way. Below is a response to a PM I sent to OpinioNate about the "onclick" feature. Which they are actually trying to work out, so hold off on changing your page. Hi Robert, Raine has been working off and on all day trying to figure out why the onclick was affected by the change and is running into some brick walls. This is not just a case of flicking a switch I'm afraid. Tomorrow we're going to try to roll back some code that we think should fix the issue, so please check back then. Thanks. -Nate Hope this encourages you as it did me.
  3. actually anyone using lignumaqua's FindStatGen GSAK macro has non-functioning tabs. Jim That's not the type of "tabs' we are talking about. Click on my name and you can see my profile with "tabs' toward the bottom.
  4. Just an FYI, I have the same type "tabs" on my profile that are not working. So does Ranger Fox. You two guys are the only ones I know that use the "tabs". Do you know of others? What kind of icons are you looking for?
  5. Yes you did. They're stripping javascript. Used to be just <script> tags. Now they also strip out the javascript onclick attributes, too. I thank them for this, since allowing javascript is a gaping security hole. Is that an opinion or a confirmation because I really haven't seen a definitive answer as to that. If it is absolute, is there another form of div tag that will allow me to use the tab type feature? If not, what other feature would allow me to do the same function? Thank you. Here was OpinioNate's response to my inquiry 3 days ago which leads me to believe that this <script> feature of the "onclick" attribute was not removed. Have you tried regenerating the code Ranger Fox supplied? Probably when the DIV tag was stripped it removed some of the code. It would not have been reinserted when the DIV tag was returned. I believe this function is still possible. At least I am holding out hope. What say you TPTB!
  6. I still haven't gotten an explanation on why the "onclick" feature of the <div> tag is not working properly. As stated in my last post, I deleted all profile info, saved it with nothing, closed the browser, re-opened it, re-loaded the same content, saved it and still the same problem. My tab feature is similar to what we have already for "Profile / Geocaches / Trackables / etc." but yet my tabs are not working. There are several others with this same problem. Could you please tell me what feature to use similar to yours that will allow the "onclick" feature for my tabs or realign the <div> tag to allow that feature? Thank you. Another feature that may be helpful on future updates. When logging personal Coins or TB's, could it be possible to add a function so the owner doesn't have to enter the TB or Coin code for the trackable? Having a personal "mileage" tracking coin is logged constantly, but having to put in the code every time should not be necessary. There are many cachers that do this. Just a thought for future updates. Until then, please help with my click feature for tabs on my profile page. Please visit my page to view the problem by trying to click on one of my tabs. It works properly on the preview page in the edit details page, but not on the public page. Again, thank you.
  7. Have you tried regenerating the code Ranger Fox supplied? Probably when the DIV tag was stripped it removed some of the code. It would not have been reinserted when the DIV tag was returned. The preview profile works fine when clicking the link to preview it and it opens in a new window. It's only when opened in a regular browser with my full profile that the tab clicks don't work. It down's work in IE or Chrome. Haven't tried FF. I can try to reload it to see what happens, but I'm not confident that is the problem. Tried reloading the entire code again after deleting all, saving, closing, opening, re-inserting and saving again, but still same issue with the onclick feature not working. Please view my profile for reference. Clicking one of the tabs should open new info and close the old. Also, new problem noted. Now I am getting the same error on my private profile page as others have had and it is not showing my icon as well. Below is the error.

  9. Thank you SOOOO much for the <div> tag fix, but I still have an issue with the <onclick> feature for personal tabs created that I use on my profile page. Clicking on the tabs no longer opens the corresponding info under the tabs. I am not the only one to use this feature. Ranger Fox's profile page personal tabs are not working either. Please, I would hope that this feature could be allowed back in. As with others that have mentioned, it is sad that a few people mess it up for the masses. Those members should be disciplined independently instead of affecting the masses. Haven't discovered any other errors on my end, but one last thing that may just be on my end. Please advise. When viewing my public profile pages, caches found, hid caches, etc., I try to use the "back" button to go back to the previous page because the tabs are no longer there to chose from. When clicking to go back I get the below error message. When I click the "reload" button as indicated, my public profile page opens again. Any idea Any response to my previous post?
  10. Can't see the "green" progress bar on Chrome, just the # of characters used.
  11. On clicking the "Go" button beside home coords on the home page, would it be possible to filter out found and owned caches? Just makes sense to filter out those. Thanks.

  13. I'm getting style attributes ripped out by the parser on a cache I just submitted. Example: <div style="border: double 4px black;"> Becomes just <div> when I view source, but the correct html is in the decscription field. I know this will disappoint a lot of people, but this was a business decision made at the highest level. So how about a little help and guidance as to what you will allow now in place of the <div> tag. I wouldn't want to waste time trying to figure out what you will and will not allow that will do a similar function for my tabs that I used.
  14. Since the new update, my profile page is not loading correctly. The new preview pane is AWESOME and it shows the look right, but my page itself is not showing the same thing. You should see tabs on my page that when clicked, opens a new section and closes the old one. Any idea on helping me with this. Shows the same in IE and Chrome. Help!

  16. Yeah, it's still down for me as well. They should let us know when it's up and running again. Or we will see it before they post.
  17. My profile page is not working in Google Chrome or IE. I have tabs on my profile page that worked fine before the change, now the tabs are not there and all my info is "stacked" on top of each other making the vertical scroll LOOONG! Help!
  18. Hey VANELLE, Just curious to know if anyone has given the right answer to your query yet. Just curious, H5
  19. Happy Birthday!! I know I probably won't be close, but my first concert I can remember going to was a Hank Williams Jr. concert. Since you are from NY, however, I very seriously doubt that he was your first concert, but hey, you never know. Thank you for the cointest and again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  20. I think you may be going to scout out or help with some planning of an event somewhere in the Southeast. Maybe around a Bell town, full of Buckles. Check out the Greater Charlotte Geocaching Club
  21. I really would prefer for the content not to wrap, but I know some places are just going to have to be that way and can accept that. I have changed my page some since you probably last copied my html. Have you looked at my page recently? Is there anything different on your end? It looks like my div width may have changed back to 100%, which seems to look like it may have fixed the problem. (OpioNate started helping before you and tried by reducing it to 90 which didn't work). Now I don't see the problem with the width on my work computer. I didn't look at it last night at home, so I don't know if it looks different there. (Reason for difference, wide flat screen monitor at work, normal 17" CRT screen at home.) Problem was there on my work computer before and now it's not.
  22. Although I do use CacheStats to generate my stats, I don't actually plug in the generated html file into my page. So that won't be a problem. With the HTML editor I use, I open two windows, one with the new stats and the other with my page info I created as you see. Then all I do is hand enter the new info into the appropriate areas of my page. It doesn't really take long at all for me to do. I just change a few numbers here and there and then add my next milestone or FTF or whatever. So changing the width of the tables sounds like the way to go. I played with it a little by reducing the width to the 600px that you mentioned to fix the calendar page, but the stat info seemed to really close in on both sides making everything wrap to unnecessary row heights. I really would prefer to not have to add row heights to skirt around it, but I will if I have to. I think you may be onto something. What solution do you have for the widths that may be different from the 600px solution?
  23. I have seen that post in the past. Thanks for the thought TL, but that only tells us which html tags are allowed. It doesn't really tell where my problem is in my code for my page. My codes and tags are ok, it's just a width or placement of the tags issue. Ranger Fox however did help me locate my problem and is helping me work out the kinks for the width issues. Thanks again for the thought though.
