I'll have you know the first words out of SuperGrrl's mouth this morning when I picked her up for school were "My mom's on a mission to crack more code caches than you." GASP! Oh Wolfy, we could have been SO GOOD together, but alas, we simply cannot compete against each other. I can't! I WON'T! (and I really "can't" during WORK during the week LOLOL) You have The Hubby, a little more time, AND an extensive caching network "phone list" for hints in YOUR arsenal. I don't have those LOL! I only have like 4 ph#'s and one of them is YOURS (and we know YOUR angle now, ha ha!) I don't stand a chance against you waaaaaahhhhhhhhh! Seriously, though last night was fun! hee hee. Now we just need to pick those up!

I had the first thing figured out, but didn't know what it meant, and she said "Oh! a blankety blank?" and I said "what's that?" and she provided me a link, and once I visited that link, it was a done deal! I thought while I was on a roll I would try Green Achers Code Cache II (GCXGJP) and I have hit a TOTAL roadblock. UGH! LOL. I have decyphered some information, and the last half of it makes some sense, but the first half doesn't, and I am nowhere NEAR having any numbers that could be coordinates!! This is evil evil work indeed. I am a woman obsessed (or maybe POsessed!)

We had SO much fun today--thanks everyone! I also want to announce (ahem) that I got Gabriel (GC1HV8R) to give up his coordinates tonight. I have a way with chatbots I think! Next time we're on our way to Porterville, we WILL be pitstopping to look for the actual cache. I've asked the owner to doublecheck it's still there, since there are no logs for the last 8 mo. WOOHOO! Nice seeing everyone today. Hope you all have a great evening as well!

I am up for anything. anywhere. we just need to figure it out and get the word out to where and when. Anyone have any ideas we can decide on? TinkyBug and I will be there (wherever it turns out to be) but probably closer to noon-ish (not sure what time the earliest people would go). We're not going to he bay area this weekend, so looking forward to this!

I'm on 8/14, but I am starting to think I'm destined to never be home on the day of these events, LOL...whenever people throw the dates around, it's never one of the originals they pick ha ha! We will do our best to come this time, if we can :-) BTW I had fun at the Target Caching Event the other night, ha ha!

SSSSHhhhhh sleeping here lol I'll tell you who's NOT sleeping...ME. Last night I dreamt I was (stupidly) alone in the woods, and being stalked by a mountain lion. It eventually pounced and I struggled and ran from that thing all night long. Every time I woke up, and realized it was just a dream, and finally get back to sleep, there it was again! I hate nights like that! Hope everyone else's day is better LOL!

Photom have any of you made reservations yet? we'd like to camp near "the group" since McSwain's a much larger campground than Barrett. And the date is still the weekend of May 2nd right?

We did it! I'm calling them (Merced Irrigation District) in the morning. If all is well, the event will be published tomorrow. Barrett's Cove - the "L" loop is what we liked best. WOOHOO! I made my reservations! There are 9 spots left in L loop as of this moment (it's a small loop) and every site has hookups. FYI, the Swimming lagoon won't be filled until closer to memorial day, but there is a playground nearby also. WHOA! Not so fast Barrett's cove was NOT available. We had to move to McSwain. I'll grab coordinates and publish the event this afternoon. At McSwain, the closest loop to the picnic shelter is the "A" loop. There are sites available (NON hook-up) in the A Loop. There are hook-up sites available in the C, D and F loops. (The last event we had there, we liked the F Loop for hookups.) Sorry Trysha - hope you can change ok. Dern it!! LOL I am sure they'll let me move my reservations no problem. Thanks for the update!

I don't see it listed, but I also thought I remember them saying they weren't sure which campground yet? I think it was supposed to be Lake McClure right? But they needed to decide which exact campground. I can't wait!

LOL I couldn't do the yellow thing to you again ha ha! I don't think we're going to hockey Saturday...Tinkybug is competing in a Science Olympiad Competition that afternoon, and my husband will be in Concord all day for a transmission thing. Boo us. Have fun if you go!
