It wouldn't be much use if you couldn't. How did you use pq's previously? I have an old Garmin 60csx and the way I load pq's into it is probably not what everyone else does. I save the pq on my computer. Then I unzip it, and save the unzipped files. I then use GPSBabel to get them onto my gps. This isn't a "website" issue. More of a "How do I" or "Gps" topic. B.

I took a chance and purchased a garmin gpsmap 64. Nowhere in the directions does it tell me how to load a pocket query. Can I, in fact, load one into the garmin 64? So frustrated!!!!

We have been using a Delorme PN-40. It has fried itself and we are in need of a new gps. I really liked the PN-40, but could never figure out how to do pocket queries on it. Knowing that we are senior citizens and not very tech savy, what would be a good gps for us to purchase as a replacement?

Since our Garmin PN40 is no longer able to download individual caches, we are trying to do a pocket query. The process is simple until it comes time to load it on the gps. Not being a computer guru, I have no idea how to get it from my email onto my gps!!! Please help in plain English for someone who basically knows nothing!!!! We are missing out on some beautiful caching days because we don't know how to do it now!!!!

For some reason, even tho I have upgraded my plugin, I am unable to download caches directly to my Delorme PN-40. Please help! I see other references to issues using Delorme GPS's and hope all of them can be resolved at once. Any input?

On a recent caching outing, while using my PN-40 in either the view or navigate mode, the arrow indicating where we were had a circle around it. Does anyone know why that would be? I have never seen it do that before.... Please help if you have any ideas! Hopefully, there is not something going wrong with it!

We have come from MI to TX to do some caching with our Delorme PN 40 and have it in the back of our heads that when you are far away from your base point, you need to recalibrate. Is this true and, if so, how do we do it? Regretfully, we did not bring our manual with us.....

We have a PN-40 and find that sometimes after sending to the gps, the descriptions are so long we don't get the whole thing. Recently, it cut off a code we needed to make the find. Is there a way to have the gps accept longer descriptions?

Help! My computer crashed and I lost all info. How was I able to send things directly from cache descriptions to my PN-40? I remember I had to download something from one of the two web sites....can you help my poor memory?

We have been reading the reviews here of the delorme pn-40. It sounds great. We are NOT computer or techie geeks, but would like to give it a try. Where can we purchase one other than online? We would like to hold it and play with it before making the plunge. We live in northern MI. Please let us know if you have any info where they are available. Thanks!
