  1. Got a response from Garmin today about the lock up here is what they have to say Thank you for contacting Garmin Product Support, You are correct, that this is a known issue with the update. Our engineers are aware of it and as soon as they make some other changes, they will release a new update that will have this corrected. I do appreciate your information and I have passed it long so that they are aware of more customers dealing with the situation. Best Regards, Kyle Candy Product Support Specialist Garmin International 1200 East 151st St. Olathe KS 66062 1-800-800-1020 www.garmin.com I hope they fix this soon, other than the lock up I still love my 60cs.
  2. Congrats to everyone who had milestones at the Wenatchee Cache Machine. We got our 600th, and with all the ones we found during and after the WCM we are getting close to our 700th. Thanks again to Travisl for setting up the cache machine.
  3. Congratulations Menagerie! Number 100 is a special milestone to reach. It was really great meeting you at the WCM. One of the younger Grays had fun playing with one of the young Menagerie.
  4. After seeing Little Blue on friday night and talking to her and family and now knowing that she has a 60cs our guess would be April 18th
  5. This was a fantastic Cache Machine. We met up with some really great people. Travisl, once again, hats off to you for putting this together. Robin, we really appreciate everything you did. Dinner was great, but so were all the other little touches that weren't expected. The kids thought the table decorations were great (confetti, little gums, and play dough). That was definately unexpected, it really gave the kids something to do while the adults got a chance to talk and wind down. The little gift bags at the pre-dinner were great too! In fact, just you passing out your phone number to everyone Friday was amazing. (Thankfully we didn't have to use that life-line!) Dinner was excellent after being on the road since 5:00am. When we went down to pay our tab, we told the woman what a wonderful job we thought they were doing. She seemed to appreciate the comments. Thanks to everyone. We all had a wonderful time.
  6. It's on our calender and we would love to be there. We will have to see what the kids would like to be at the party . we don't have a whole lot of costumes ,more or less like to decorate the house. If you need a fog machine or other decorations let us know we have a few.
  7. I was a Cub Scout Reach Arrow of Light pack 504 and an Eagle Scout troop 504 1988. Now a district member at large and help with training around the district. Good luck on achieving the Rank of Eagle.
  8. I personally like stickers because, I can put our logo on them and then right in the date. I usually write a little note about the hunt in the log book. I also like being able to read the stickers of the previous caches which I can not always do if the previous cacher actually writes in the log book.
  9. You can count us in for 1 silver coin in addition to the 5 regular ones. Very cool!
  10. Wow, congratulations W7WT and ajetpilot. It's great that you guys reached that milestone togeter!
  11. Congrats to both of you, You make a great couple .
  12. We already planned on spending Sunday hiking to some of the longer/scenic caches. We'd be happy to meet up with others who have the same idea.
  13. Looks good so far, We have already booked a hotel room. Can't wait.
  14. My kids are 10. They both enjoy caches that take them on hikes in the woods, or along the beach. One of the girls really enjoys the 'hunt'. She wants to find it first. They both really enjoy looking through the cache for items to trade out. Generally, they like the little toy animals they find. They will also occasionally choose a craft item. Sometimes though, a rock will catch their attention. As far as where the cache is hidden, well, let's just say that they will get bored after looking for too long. They'd be fine if all caches were hidden in stumps. I can definitely say that they prefer regular size caches over micros!
  15. Here's a BIG congratulations to you guys! Girls are great (of course we're a little biased because we've got two)! Steve, Dene, Christina & Amanda
  16. Just sent off an email to you. Good luck
  17. Haven't tried to leave our girls in a cache. Although, there are times when I'd sure like to. Of course, they wouldn't fit in an average cache, maybe something larger - like the Project Ape cache. Another thought, we've got two, so would that mean we could only leave them at a multi? Now that I've got that thought in my head........ Argh! Can't do it though, we'd have to change our name to the2Grays.
  18. Yeah, I'm planning on heading over to Wenatchee that day, too. Yeah, we were planning on going over to Wenatchee that day also.

Hey Dick for about $22.00 at the local sportsman warehouse you can buy a little one like the Princeton Tec Impact 2 that should work well for a Night cache that fairly close to the store it's self. It's what the we use.
  20. Wow, congratulations to all of you guys.
  21. Try paying for golf clubs, Balls (and a lot get lost) Green fees and the drinks at the 19Th hole. Now thats gets expensive. And you have to be crazy to play golf. what other sport do you pay for aggravation. . In comparison Geocaching is a little less expensive and the whole family can play.
  22. It's your Party I say bring them along more the merrier. Maybe after they see all the fun that caching is they just might want run out and get their own GPSr
  23. We just wrote it down on the calender we should be there, looking forward to it. Last year was a blast. One of the girls hopes that Lolita and Mayday can make it.
