  1. Jon, I can't tell you how much I appreciate having these trail maps on my GPS unit. They have quickly become indispensable, get constant use, and have saved my hiney more times than I can count. THANK YOU!!!!!
  2. Definitely so, but after much searching while preparing for the PNW debut of Frito Pies, it was discovered that the small bags are only found in a variety pack, and determined that Cheeto Pies are a significantly greater gastronomical abomination than Frito Pies. I stopped by Cache Cash & Carry this afternoon and bought 25 2oz bags of Fritos. Cool! The grocery stores and Costco don't have anything but the variety packs. I may still bring a bowl so I don't have to hold a bag of hot chili in my hands.
  3. That right there might be enough of a reason to try to complete this. The 2-mile paddle is the easy part!
  4. Make 'em do 163 Houses!!
  5. Congratulations to hydnsek on #5000 Saturday at Gunga Din on a Donkey!
  6. Aack! Stoppit Travis! I have the original weekend blocked out at work and am going to have to mess with clients' appointments if you move it to April 4.
  7. You should do whatever option you like the most. For every one that says "Oh no, not another challenge cache", there will be another that will make it their goal to finish it. The Blackout option will be a big job for you to maintain, since new caches are constantly popping up in Bellevue.

  9. What, you don't like après-cache gut bombs?
  10. Terrific! Count me in for a monster Costco-sized can of chili. (Unless Ray volunteers to make his home-made chili - that stuff is GOOD!!)
  11. I hope they don't have the event on the opening weekend of the Maze show, because that's when Travis is having his next cache machine.
  12. That was me! My daughter was taking me to pick up my car from an oil change. We were curious about your bumper sticker and giving it a good look while we were stopped behind you.
  13. Don't be discouraged about CITO events - there really is a lot of interest, but a lot of people don't commit until the last minute and sometimes events conflict. I'd love to attend your event but I'm already committed to Totem Lake's Hike of the Month that day.
  14. Plaidguy and I will be there. We've already found all the caches on the route, but I've really been itching to strap on those snowshoes!
  15. The only cache I can think of that is not on a graveled road but on a trail is the one dedicated to the Celtic Cachers, the rest are on graveled roads. I know the glass cache directions say trails, but he has you going a complex route. NOW you tell us!
  16. Wow! That is unreal! I hope your house stays out of the way.
  17. If you're ever heading down to California, I really enjoyed this one: Fossil Find. A little farther than you wanted to go, but least it's not as far as southern California! My fossil find:
  18. 2.5 inches on Kent's East Hill, and still coming down.
  19. Wow, Squilchuck and Nolte are on the mothball list. We had one of our WSGA summer campouts at Squilchuck several years ago. Nolte is home to one of the oldest caches in the state - GC333 Edit: bad grammar
  20. Fixed. Hope so anyway, because I have to work on Sunday the 25th.
  21. You can start with the stuff clogging my driveway.
  22. Heh. That snow was SO deep that we didn't just get a coffee. We needed actual espresso! The funny thing is... it was warmer up there than it has been here!
  23. I can see it now... January HOTM will be dedicated to Totem Lake's Cabin Fever. How is the ankle feeling?
  24. Yes, THANK YOU PNWAdmin. You have always been an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot even begin to say how much I appreciate all the help you've given me over the years.
