I have same problem. Just bought a decal TB from Groundspeak and can't activate it. It says it doesn't exist in the system.

I've had my CO for a week. It's nice. Never had another GPS before, so don't have anything to compare with. I like the DEM maps. Screen is big, and graphics good. It also has profiles for different modes. I added an aviation mode that I use for flying, not too bad. Geocaching is fun with this model. Street navigation is good, it also recalculates detours fast. Loaded Speed camera POI for South Africa, although there is no proximity warnings, the signs do show up on the map!! The screen is a bit dark indoors, and you need to use the backlighting, which can be a bit harsh on the batteries. Got DC cable for car, so saves batteries, You have to have Firmware 2.51 for this to work though. I am really happy with the GPS

With firmware 2.51 you can use the Spanner mode to keep the GPS in GPS mode, that will work in the car. It will even use USB power form a pc to power the unit. However it cannot transfer information from Mapsource etc if in this mode.

Thanks for the replies. I tried using another PC to do the update and it worked on the other PC. Don't know what the problem was with my Laptop. I'm glad that I could solve the problem!!! Thanks for the advise!!

I have a Colorado 300 with 2.4 Firmware. I downloaded the 2.51 Firmware EXE file. When I tried to install it, the program self extracts but then hangs on the Welcome page. My GPS is plugged in and on!!? Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. The other problem is that I can't install 2.51 firmware. I run the program with GPS plugged in, but it starts the setup and then Hangs!!! Does anyone have any advice to correct this!!?
