  1. Early this month I flew with American Airlines and on their pre-flight video, GPS receivers are listed as items which you CANNOT use at any point whilst on the aircraft. I agree that the GPS rx doesn't transmit so there must be another reason why the airlines don't want us using are toys on the plane. David
  2. Thanks Miragee!!! That's it. Now I can see it. The 60CSX manual is a bit vague when talking about Geocache features. Yucca, yes, I have the geocache icons - the unit recognises that the cache waypoints are Geocache. :-) Thank you. Now it's working and I can see the Geocache Navigation. Thanks to everyone! David
  3. Thanks LandRover. Still confused here though. What do you mean by "offroad mode"? I do disable 'Lock to road' but still don't get the 'geocache navigation'. Thanks.
  4. I'd second the Garmin 60CSx. I've got one for travelling and for Geocaching. Fantastic unit and you can fix it to your car windscreen when driving. I use CityNavigator and that works really well and also autoroutes. Speed camera database download is a must if you travel a lot. For geocaching, the 60CSx is waterproof and stores loads of cache sites in its huge memory. David
  5. Hello all, Tried searching but couldn't find anything on... I've recently bought a 60CSx and have been out geocaching with it a few times. I've loaded in lots of cache sites to the unit using Mapsource and things are working well. However, I never see the "Geocaching Navigation" page which the manual mentions and which can be seen here: http://www.prairie.mb.ca/gpsmap60CSx.htm I'm selecting a Cache from my list of waypoints (listed under the Geocache icon), and selecting Go To. The unit then autoroutes (CityNavigator) to the cache. BUT the compass page just shows info related the to next turn and NOT the GeoCache Navigation. Any ideas or help would be great. Thanks in advance. David
  6. inuk, If you need some help, give me a shout. I'm willing to help and support you! My site is www.Dsquared.co.uk but I need to update it and add my Geocaching section I'll link through to you when I do. David
  7. Hi all, If you need a second place to host the document, I can offer some on my website (Dsquared.co.uk). I need an excuse to update my site anyway and having just kicked off my Geocaching 'career' a Geocaching section on the site is on my list of things to do. Oh, and while I'm here: Hello to everyone! I'm new to Geocaching and so far I've visited two caches - great fun and an excellent way to see the country and the World. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and possibly bumping into a few of you whilst searching for a cache. David
