I also have the dual cable for the car and the car mount from GPSGeek, and I love the cable. I'd be wary of the suction mount; the plastic that holds the arm to the bracket breaks easily. There is a warning about it in the packing materials that I didn't see until mine was broken. Nothing that a little epoxy can't fix... I also bought (and love) the Map Source software.
  2. Just a thought: why would you have to ship the container? Why not just trade the contents of the containers? You could specify that it would be enough to fill a container H" x W" x L". I would think this would make the whole thing easier.
  3. This was the other one that I saw: quote:Took Geocache sticker and left a quarter. It just boggles the mind...

  5. Actually saw this in a cache log: "Left 63 cents and took wheres george bill." I don't know that I'd have the guts to post that I traded 63 cents for a dollar. Or maybe he thought that "trading up" means take more than you leave.
  6. What kind of experiences has everyone had with themed trade items in caches? I'm thinking of placing a cache for trading lapel pins, but I don't want to end up with a bunch of marbles in return.
  7. I have 2 of the Legend LX's from Wal-Mart and I'm very happy with both. The only negative is the cost of the 123A's, but the previous posts will help with that.
  8. Ammo cans are always a good choice (if the seal is intact). I would even call them the container of choice for most full-sized caches. People will use just about anything for cache containers, but whatever you use, make sure it's waterproof or you'll end up with a soggy mess.
