  1. A little behind, but a few of us in Korea had talked about this. First, I don't think we were being "punished" or that it was unfair. I ran into the same problem when I discovered the FEDY.... used up 99% of the caches nearby. So, traveling a little further wasnt tons of fun, but it was my own fault for eating up everything close. However, the game caused me to skip caches I normally would have found... Because they didn't contain the reward I needed at the time. They contained the reward at the next step. We're not supposed to skip caches (unless We choose to) , it goes against the idea of what geocaching is about. So, penalized or punished? Not really... But, I do feel your pain. I didn't like traveling so far, to skip caches, just to return a day or 2 later for those skipped caches. But, hey, thanks for pushing the app on us ?
  2. As one of the few cachers in Korea that have approached you regarding the adoptions, I would hope you would put in the time. We've asked on numerous occasions and seems like it takes forever to receive a response. We are more than willing to adopt them...and as we are seeing newer, younger cachers here recently, we'd appreciate it if you didn't just leave them for us to CITO for you. If newbies can't find it, it doesn't necessarily mean it's missing and armchair logging, without confirming is... not cool. We would kindly ask, again, that you take the time to adopt them over. Do them in small groups... I'm not leaving anytime soon and will gladly maintain them.
  3. I'm here! better late than never ㅋㅋㅋ
  4. yup. not a fan of how CheetHo abused the system to keep/attain his "#1" rank.... and i could rail for hours about things he's done that are borderline unethical, if not outright unethical... but that's his lame game. as for the original question, yeah, i think adoption logs should not be able to be deleted. they don't hurt anything. i can see COs cleaning spoilers or fake logs, but transferring logs are the same as reviewer notes to me... there to inform others (and the CO). I could see it being helpful if i were looking for a particular cacher because i enjoy their hides... then not being able to find them because some jackhat like CheetHo decided his personal game was superior to and more important than the community. too many people think it's a regional game, when it's global... and too many people forget that it's just that, a game. take that attaboy out of petty cash... pat yourself on the back, because there are no prizes or trophies for being the "best", especially if you have to resort to cheating to get there. but, i digress... in conclusion, adoption logs should be locked in. ?
