I've been making my own clay coins but I'd like to track them without having to attach dog tags. Do I have to register them with geocaching.com and pay a fee?

Does anyone know where clear containters can be ordered? Our parks system here won't let us put caches out unless they are in clear containers. Of course the nearby wally world had plastic containers, but I wouldn't think they are too weather proof. Anyone have any suggestions?

I just upgraded from a eXplorist 100 to a eTrex Venture this week (don't ya just love Father's Day gifts). I also just bought me a Palm Zire 31 handheld and I'm totally new now to downloading maps and such onto both. I understand how to download onto the eTrex, but what software do I need for my Palm to keep details and hints of each waypoint I have? I'm totally confused.

I don't know if this has been discussed or not, but I work for a Parks & Recreation Department and I am interested in getting some Geocoins made to have a Geocache Adventure race and would like to have some coins to give away as prizes. Does anyone know any sites to check into? The ones I have found didn't specifically say that they would custom make coins, just to purchase the ones that they already have designed.
