At the moment I do private health care - I get sent to peoples homes who need live in care, the great thing is I've been sent all over really! So when I started caching (not so long ago) I had the chance to do some a bit further from where I live.

I wish I'd asked what they looked like - my first key safe I must of looked right at it a million times untill actually realising it was there. I'd never seen one before :< I did find it in the end though!

I have to admit you were alot more polite than i would of ever been! I'd be well anoyed if anyone changed any of my caches! They are mine and placed the way I want them! I'm sure they wanted to help but you really should ask first - and if you cant then leave things the way you found them.

you just said what i been thinking !!! lol thought someone would say it at some point

I'd love to swim for a cache! as long as it isnt cold

Don't! I tend to cache alone quite often so I prefer to have a good proportion of micros to seek. I like the challenge and the walk (sometimes) rather than the rusty/grubby trinkets. thats what i was thinking!! In the begining wich isnt long ago cause im still a newbie I hated micros cause the ones I tried for at first i COULDNT find! now ive been able to find those ones and its great. A well hidden micro can be a really rewarding achievment once found. Not ALL micros are horrible :<

Well I only just started placing my first caches right and I have placed two micros - One near a place I thought was nice and on the way to another cache and in what i thought for was a cute place and the other on the way to another place/cache as a type of cache and dash just for fun.

Geo.Kitten replied to martlakes's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
I always read everything but I'm still new at caching so maybe thats why I really enjoy the ones that tell you something about the cache site that you didnt know before! Plus sometimes it gives you a clue about what to look for and so on -

Well before I got addicted to caching I would NEVER have gone out walking in the rain. Recently Pklong and I went caching and it was raining most of if not all of the time and I have to say I had loads of fun the rain was all part of it. It was a great laugh sloshing boots and all! So if I want to go caching rain wouldnt stop me at all

I think mrs B has given you a great idea! being able to personalise it and make it 'her' cache will be great!

I'm not sure what I think about it probably nothing really but I did kinda think that ftf was about the race to ftf not about being handed it on a silver platter I could be wrong though K -

Did anyone go caching today in the soggy half of the UK?
Geo.Kitten replied to goldpot's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
yesterday I went caching in the rain and realised my rain coat wasnt waterproof Today I placed my first caches I didnt realise that people would brave the blown down trees and really windy rainy weather to FTF but they did! well chuffed -
Same has happened to me!! The odd thing is the red marks stay for awhile sometimes even till the next day.. So I think I may be slightly allergic or something
