  1. It was raining and snowing in Tahoe, where we are getting a little well deserved play time til about 10am. After that it has been beautiful! This might be a little random, but we are definitely having a great time up here! Dennis
  2. Is there a planned final release date for 1.5? I have had consistent problems with lost notes, bookmarks and personal settings with 1.4x I have used this with WM2003 and WM5 with similar results. Thanks for the time and expertise you have put into this app!
  3. Looks great. We can't wait for the event or the coins! Dennis "D" of MCgeoDE
  4. Thanks to Camel680, Sanruft and Team Judd for the event today. We had a good time. It is always nice to get a chance to meet some of the people that go with the names we find in the logs! Well Done!
  5. We like what one of our CVC cachers did over the last weekend! Now thats the ticket...Good job Sanruft and family. Maybe its time for TeamTek to do some thing like that, then maybe you will get that mad dash to the North... After all the North side has more places like this than we do down here! Talk about your target rich environment... This could be the grounds to establish a new personal best. Thanks in advance, Tim. Thanks Bill! While not one of my caches hold a candle to your fabulous caches, I try to put (a little) thought into them! This series has gone a long way to elevate my wife's opinion of micros! Great job, we really enjoyed the thought you put into each of these! This little section of the trail was very popular today.
  6. I was online logging some caches I found today in the St. Louis, Mo. area and thought I'd check on the forums... I am stunned and sickened to read about the fallout from the Lion's Pride cache. I simply don't know what to say other than Camel, you and your family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.
  7. Congratulations to soul2soulconnections on 300 finds!
  8. Please go ahead, take away from the silliness. ...After all that was an important announcement! Thanks! Dennis (D of MCgeoDE)
  9. We found ourselves re-visiting the Ripon area caches today. Bravo, we were very impressed with the thought and excellent execution of the caches around town. Thanks very much for your effort! Dennis, Michele, Clayton and Emily (D, M, C and E of MCgeoDE)
  10. I agree with the use of the Excel formulae..., and I have in fact used the .txt. formats for export from GSAK. The request is a matter of adding an item to the "wish list" and adding one more blade to the GSAK. Thanks for the effort put into this excellent program! Dennis
  11. Fill er' up with that turbo juice - In fact, use the same juice you had in it for those first-to-finds! (Congrats!) The nice thing about this game is that it can be done over an extended period of time, rather than take a day off to do it. Got a call from Sanruft Bright and early!!!! (OK so it was 9:00 AM)[] [] Telling me to roll my laziness out of bed! Said there was a couple of caches that hadn't been logged yet!!! So we headed out. In search of that wonderful FTF! BUT We were beat .... by who other than Mr. Green Achers himself. It's about time you use that jet fuel in that ole tractor of yours Bill!!! HAHA Congrats to you! Bill, Congratulations on the FTF's. We placed another today, but it is a little farther from home and not approved yet... We appreciate the comments on the container sizes. My wife and kids are just about to the point of refusing to hunt any micros Dennis
  12. I really like this program! How about export to a txt/csv file with coordinates in Degrees, Minutes.Decimal... This would help me with a simple excel spreadsheet with the coordinates from the caches. Thanks!
  13. Hey all you old-timers... What is the consensus on how long to wait for the cache owner to reply to an e-mail reporting the requested information for a virtual cache? Are we waiting days? weeks? months!? Dennis
  14. I picked mine up in Folsom on Friday. The tracking site is up and I have registered my coins. Coming to a cache near you!
  15. Hello, I am also pretty new to all of this. My family and I have been geocaching since Labor Day 2003. I a few caches ready to place... I am wondering about the placement of caches in the ground. The guidelines say that it is not allowed, but... let's say there are a few sunken caches in the CVC neighborhood. What is the feeling on this? Thanks, Dennis
