  1. Click on the log a visit link. As your log type use owner maintenance. The attribute will go away.
  2. We all admire and respect you so much we are paying tribute to your greatness.
  3. Did you hit the update statistics button? It doesn't update immediately unless you tell it to.
  4. The Moun10Bike coin I have has a code on it for this cache.got coin?
  5. Giving up after only 38 finds and 18 months? They last a lot longer than THAT! One of ours has been out for three and a half years and 119 finds and is still OK Yep, I had one out for a few months. One of the cachers bent the inside seal and it rapidly lost its water tightness. I have run across lots of these containers that are not able to seal tightly and they have moisture inside of them.
  6. I think that you are going to find that a nano size isn't going to help much. IMHO many hiders think they are clever hiding a nano on a location with millions of nooks and crannies to hide something. Since they think that this is a skillful hide they aren't going to be eager to tell you it is a nano because then the hide isn't as difficult.
  7. In 5600+ finds I still average about 10% DNF's. Don't let it detour you from having fun. Most of the fun comes in finding new, hidden places and meeting fellow cachers. Good advice to find a mentor, go to an event or contact an old timer that has hidden a cache near you. Soon those caches will come easy to you and you will laugh about how difficult they were when you first started. At some point you will start to lament about how lame lamp post caches are.
  8. Moun10Bike owns all his coins. Even the coins he gives to a cacher to keep stays under his user name. He is very active in making sure they are not logged improperly. Now that he is a Lackey he can also see the account status of anyone logging his coins. I am sure that he will resolve any fake logging when he has an opportunity.
  9. Decon containers are great if they are closed properly and "new" However after repeated open and close cycles and the lid not being snapped shut all the way they start to leak. It sounds to me like a well meaning cacher found your wet log from a failed decon container and tried to help you out with what they thought was a good container. I would chalk it up to a good intentions gone bad.
  10. You can use http://www.geocaching.com/profile/default.aspx?id=1213082 But an even better way is to use the stat bar generator. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/my/statbar.aspx This will let you make a statbar that you can post on other sites.
  11. if they do this i'll archive my puzzles and request they be locked. no unawarded prizes will be awarded. This puzzles me. Why does someone have to use your method to solve the puzzle. Even a battleship approach is a solution. We encourage people to think outside the box but don't allow them to use different approaches? Outside of having someone else bring them to the cache shouldn't any method of solution be allowable?
  12. were did you see that there is an update tomorrow?
  13. I see them in truck stops and auto parts stores quite often.
  14. I'm sorry to ask this, but are we talking to baloo or bd or someone else completely? That's an odd question, does the post not show who posted this on your side? I wanted to ask the same thing, since I can't find any strange logs on your Trackables, or if you're talking about some other account. If it's tough to get the pertinent info from you, it may be much harder to figure out what the problem is. Which Trackables is it happening to? What date did it start? What's your web browser? Any weird scripts running, like "auto-visit" in "Greasemonkey"? When you make a "found" log, look at the drop-down boxes to the right of the Trackables. Do they all show the text "No Action" as you submit the log? You can test it on your own cache right now (just see what it shows, or you could even submit a Found log and then delete). Since I don't live in AZ, not going to show a birth certificate to prove who I am as that is still a very off the wall question. You'll just have to take my word for it. I already deleted the ring logs, but have not done this one yet on The Brat Stop. This is the TB log. I don't think anyone was asking you to prove who you were they just wanted to know which member of the team they were talking to Baloo or BD.
  15. I'm not from SA but your description sounds like a 4.5 to me. As a plus there are very few 4.5 terrain caches and they can be highly sought after for those trying to complete the D/T grid.
  16. The easiest way to do this is with GSAK available at GSAK.net Then look for the FindStatGen macro
  17. Sounds like you need to register it at www.mygarmin.com
  18. So much for the theory that caches destroy the environment
  19. There is no such thing as doing too much Geocaching, silly young cachers!
  20. Are the coords 30 yards away from the cache? If so you have increased the difficulty in a way that isn't really in line with the spirit of a 5/5 cache. If I gave you coords that are that far off a bright yellow trash can could be a 5/5 in some northwest forest. Raising difficulty by publishing soft coords is pretty much frowned on by most of the cachers I know. If I misunderstood your OP then ignore my post.
  21. Look at the bottom of the page for a profile you like. The bottom should have a link on what they used to make the profile. (Unless they hand code the profile like I do. )
