  2. To determine which caches have more than one "found it" log, go to Search>Filter and click on the "Other" tab. Then change Found Count to "Greater than or equal to" "2" and click on "Go":
  3. I am remiss in saying Thanks to Prime Suspect for this great script.
  4. Until Prime gets the next release out you can edit the script in the following way // Create array of menu urls as an index. DO NOT CHANGE ORDER. New entries can be // added to the end of the array. This does not affect display order. var aMenuUrls = [ '/account/default.aspx', '/bookmarks/', '/my/favorites.aspx', '/my/inventory.aspx', '/my/logs.aspx', '/my/myfriends.aspx', '/my/owned.aspx', '/my/statistics.aspx', '/my/watchlist.aspx', '/notify/default.aspx', '/pocket/default.aspx', '/my/uploadfieldnotes.aspx' ]; And further down in the script the following change // Add Your Stuff menu items. var ulYourSubMenu = document.createElement('ul'); ulYourSubMenu.setAttribute('class', 'SubMenu'); liYourStuff.appendChild(ulYourSubMenu); fAddMenuItem('Your Account Details', '/account/default.aspx'); fAddMenuItem('Your Owned Geocaches', '/my/owned.aspx'); fAddMenuItem('Your Logs', '/my/logs.aspx'); if (PM) { fAddMenuItem('Your Pocket Queries', '/pocket/default.aspx'); } if (PM) { fAddMenuItem('Bookmark Lists', '/bookmarks/'); } fAddMenuItem('Your Watchlist', '/my/watchlist.aspx'); if (PM) { fAddMenuItem('Instant Notification Service', '/notify/default.aspx'); } if (PM) { fAddMenuItem('Favorites List', '/my/favorites.aspx'); } fAddMenuItem('Your Friends', '/my/myfriends.aspx'); if (PM) { fAddMenuItem('Your Statistics', '/my/statistics.aspx'); } fAddMenuItem('Your Trackable Item Inventory', '/my/inventory.aspx'); fAddMenuItem('Upload your Field Notes', '/my/uploadfieldnotes.aspx'); }
  5. On my profile page I used lots of images inside of tables. The site upgrade is adding code to my images and makes them not show up. The code was written as <img src="http://i878.photobucket.com/albums/ab347/jshilt/Groundspeak%20Profile/6.jpg" border="0" width="32" height="32" alt="Silent BoB's Secret Stash (Dvd exchange)" title="Silent BoB's Secret Stash (Dvd exchange)"> and the site is changing it to <img style="width: 0px; height: 0px;" class="InsideTable Pointer" src="http://i878.photobucket.com/albums/ab347/jshilt/Groundspeak%20Profile/6.jpg" alt="Silent BoB's Secret Stash (Dvd exchange)" title="Silent BoB's Secret Stash (Dvd exchange)" border="0" height="32" width="32"> Can you tell me how to use my images without changing them to 0 width and height?
  6. If you delete the PQ from the PQ list it seems to delete the PQ that is ready for download as well.
  7. I didn't mention the application because I am not part of the beta team and have not been given permission to talk about it. I would guess that the beta team users cannot talk about it either. For what it is worth I saw a working model of the Garmin Colorado almost a year before it came out. Didn't talk about that one either.
  8. This is a question that needs to be asked of Garmin at Garmin.com Groundspeak doesn't have any programming input on the Garmin software
  9. At least 10 threads about this in the forums. Main one at http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=272744&view=getnewpost&hl=&fromsearch=1
  10. I've heard rumors of the API being in use by a trusted partner from an impeccable source. One that I am very anxious to see in use.
  11. Now this is a different issues entirely. Now you are talking about a cache that you attempted to find that is unsuitable and in a protected area (by virtue of the presence of the seals) I would in this case post a NA on this cache because of this issue. But I still don't concern myself with OTHER peoples discretion when it comes to what they accept as a found log on their cache. That is entirely up to the cache owner and the person who logs the find. This of course does not apply to not ever going to the cache site. It should also be noted that personally in my found logs that my signature is on the log inside every cache that I have logged a find on. But that is just how I want my game to be played.
  12. I think that the cache owner can allow a log if he wants and that my job is not to worry about anyone except myself.
  13. I'm a jerk, 78,31,20,9,8,6,1,0 for my active caches.
  14. Did you check your logs for the caches? I know that I put my sons name in my log when he is with me. Maybe you put hers in at the time. Also you might tell us what you think the name might have been.
  15. I started paying the membership fee in 2003. I still pay it every year so for me I think it is worth it.
  16. You didn't say if you were in a car, but you should know that some of the rental cars have shielded windows that will block a GPS signal
  17. That also sounds much like the symptoms of the screen connector coming lose.
  18. Ran one last night that worked just fine. Using Firefox 4.0 on Win7
  19. Camo them and hang them upside down. They won't leak. Give them time. They all leak after being opened and closed a dozen times.
  20. I agree, just sign the new log and let the old online log stand.
  21. I have never been south of the equator so Australia or New Zealand are on the top of my list.
  22. I'm not the top but I have found caches in all 50 states, 4 Canadian provinces, 10 countries and have logged 393856 miles excluding locationless. The number I am most proud of is finds in 1166 US counties/county equivalents.
  23. I just want to make sure that a very important part of this experience isn't overlooked in regards to your daughter. This had absolutely nothing to do with geocaching, in fact it had absolutely nothing to do with the walk in the park. In my opinion you need to make a concerted effort to distance this unfortunate event from any of the activities that the two of you were doing. It is entirely a result of an uninformed albeit well intentioned person, and a police department that has to deal with the legal ramifications of not addressing all posibilities that may crop up at a later date. Common sense is often diverted by the need to protect a department from the small minority of lawyers that disgrace the profession by creating lawsuits from nothing.
  24. Also if you are picking caches off the GPS one at a time to log your finds you can streamline that process as well. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/my/uploadfieldnotes.aspx On that page is a browse button. Plug your GPS in and look for the file x:\Garmin\geocache_visits.txt where x: is the GPS. Upload that file and it will load all the finds you have logged on the GPS to the field notes section of the website and you can quickly log your finds from there.
  25. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/my/lists.aspx and look to the right of the bookmark list. There is a link that says create a PQ. Select that and a day to run. This will have a list created that will be emailed to you. Inside the PQ are two files. One ends in -wpts. That file is the parking and additional waypoints file. You want to upload the other file to your GPS. On a Garmin you plug in the GPS and find the folder inside the drive that is created that is labeled X:\Garmin\GPX\ where X: is the drive letter of the GPS.
