Thanks everyone for your feedback. We would pretty much be using it strictly for geocaching so we decided to go with the Oregon. For the price difference and how we are most lily to use it, the Oregon seemed the best fit. Thanks again for your thoughts!

Agent45, thanks for your thoughts. Since we are military living overseas, so there is no hands on testing for us! We're all about buying online I do like the idea of a larger screen, so I'll check out the Montana some more. Thanks!

Hi all! I am in the same boat right now, and am still wondering what the difference is between the Montana and the Oregon? We currently own the Garmin 76CSX and are looking to downsize and go paperless. We pretty much have it narrowed to the Oregon 550 or the Montana 650, but I'm curious if there is any interesting feedback on these that will help me decide which to go. Thanks for your thoughts!

I am having the same problem with the gpsmap 76csx using a new iMac with OS X. I can't add them manually as the GPS doesn't show up in the device list either.

I had already done a pocket query and I was still doing them one at a time from there as well. When I checked them all and then hit send, it wanted me to save it. think this might have been where I was getting confused because I didn't know what to do. This time I saved to Garmin's map program. Then form there I sent them all (I think) to the Garmin. So far it looks like they have all downloaded. Thank you! Markwell, thank you for the link. First, sorry if this is posted anywhere else... Second, here is my question: Is there anyway to download multiple caches (for example someone else's bookmarks) to my GPS without doing them one at a time? I am using a Garmin GPSmap 76CSx and am a premium member. I like to put many caches in the GPS so when I go out I have many to choose from. However, this prep time takes all day to transfer one cache at a time. Thank you for any assistance!
