  1. Wow, what a gorgeous design. I have to go with the majority about the antique metals, I think the antiquing shows off a really beautiful design in a coin.
  2. We are here in Newport News, VA (about an hr. away from Williamsburg). We had an event at Waller Mill Park there a couple of yrs ago and it was really a nice park with a few caches but not many. If you look around the College of William and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg there are a lot of caches in that area with a lot of great old virtual caches that will help you understand the history of the area and give you some great facts. I would highly recommend taking a tour of Colonial Williamsburg on the the little bus tour they have. Chip and I had a pass last yr and took it and it takes you around to all the old taverns where you can get lunch and drinks and they have historical shows that people in costume perform for you some are even interactive where you get to participate in them. As for food recommendations Chip and I enjoy the Red, Hot and Blue BBQ place on the main strip (Richmond Road), Kyoto Japanese place (also on Richmond Road), and Peking Buffet Restaurant off of Bypass Rd in the shopping center with the Kmart (there are a few caches around that shopping center too). Also, no trip to Williamsburg is complete without going to the Williamsburg Pottery to do your shopping with all the great deals they have. They also have a new place that has been there since 2005, Yankee Candle (which is right on Richmond Rd. too), it's a huge place and has some very unique shops and experiences, we loved it when we went there. If Busch Gardens is open when you come then I would also suggest that too if you enjoy that sort of thing and have kids. Here is a web site to maybe help you figure out what you want to do http://www.visitwilliamsburg.com/index.aspx . I hope you enjoy your visit here and get the most you can out of it. Have a safe trip. Nora and Chip aka Nochipra

  8. Oh Wow! Congrat you two she is absolutely gorgeous! Great pick on the geocaching name too, it fits her perfectly! I'd like to send her one of our Naughty and Nice coins if you send me your address. You can activate it and send it on its way so she can track it as she grows up and watch it's adventures or keep it for her own collection? Whatever you want? Be happy and make every moment count:) Nochipra

But, on the very good note I got the Chat coin and 2007 Australia platapus coin from Tsun. Thank you so much Tsun, I love them:)

Yesterday we got a note in our mailbox saying we had a package waiting for us at the post office but it was too late to get it so I'm going to go get it today. Can't wait to see what it is? Our mail today has not run yet so It will be late tonight early tomorrow before I can post what I get today at the P.O. and in the mailbox today if anything?
  17. We have a couple of coins in the works now that are really special to us that we designed but I wouldn't call them our personal coins. I really want to eventually this yr have a coin and possible pin set to trade by the end of the yr that looks like our wooden nickel to the left but I would want to buy it outright instead of going throught the coin partnership programs we have been doing.
  18. Ditto on these, any metal will do! Check my trade list below. But nobody has those yet! I can pick one up for you (both) at the event! ooh ohh, can I get one too? I few coins you can choose from as a trade including our personal party poker coin and the Naughty and Nice Christmas coins. I love the Sopranos!

If anyone who posted here still wants to trade I have few of our personal party poker coins available done through TNT, just send me an email or pm. Thank you all again.
  22. All any cacher can really do is describe the area to the best of their ability in their published cache and it is really up to the individual disabled or not to decide if they want to do it? I know for me I actually study the cache pages before deciding to go after them by checking the google earth pics, the description, star ratings, attributes, etc since I don't really have the luxery of being able to do most "typical" hiking type caches. That is really all that disabled cachers ask is that you describe it to the best of your ability and if they/I attempt it and find it too difficult then we usually will avoid it.
  23. Whoa! Some great and unbelievable offers so far. I hope they are for real. It's really going to be hard to choose just one, I want them all, lol. Bumping this up for now. Only two hrs left.
  24. Wow, I love that coin! We will surely get one or two. We went throught same program you are going through with Coins and Pins with our Christmas coin. I know they will do a great job on it:) Good Luck.
