I want to nominate my dad - farmerboyd. I come from New Zealand and now live in Matthews, NC. I have been caching for about three months and love the few geocoins i have. My mum and dad come over to visit a few weeks ago and now are back in NZ. I signed him up and i am getting them a GPS to use in NZ. He and my mum would love their first geocoin (i sent one over with them to release in NZ - which he will do even without a GPS )

I have pre-ordered a kiwifruit geocoin and i just recieved my Team Chelmo - man i love it - i almost dont want to release it into the wild - but i want to send something out to get to nz.

Thanks everyone for the awesome coin info - there are more than i thought. Yes i would like the get the new Fern 2007 coin coming out. Society members can order now i believe - i will have to wait till they come out (hope i have my info right - and it's not a 2008 coin - oh well) Man alive - Yes an ALL BLACKS GEOCOIN - now there's a winner if ever there was still waiting for my Team Chelmo silver geocoin to turn up - not long now i hope.

This might a brief forum - but trying to find info on NZ geocoins is like pulling teeth it seems. I dont think there are many around - yet I just won a Team Chelmo geocoin on ebay and are gathering info on other NZ coins out there. I know the GPS society - 2007 Fern is about to get a new one delivered and will be available to sale soon. (nice looking coin by the way!) What other NZ Geocoins are out there for a kiwi who lives in NC and wants to release a few to try and get to NZ and back I dont have any to trade - yet, so just looking for info on what is out there. Any and all info will be appreciated MadkiwiMan (aka madnewzealanderman - for those who think i'm mad about kiwi fruit)

I know this was years ago - but if anyone can help me get some kiwi/new zealand geocoins - i would love them to bits. I now live in NC and want to send a geocoin to nz and back - i want a nice one. any help out there - i went to www.nzbydesign.com and it doesn't really go anywhere.

yes thanks again - i have created a 10mile radius for trad and multi caches. will forward emails to my windows based phone. will be interesting to see how it all works. also - i have downloaded Google earth and hopefully some other file converter so i can download to my phone - i have a blackjack windows mobile - does anyone know if that will work with any of the programs available???

Man, those are brilliant - i can't wait to have a go at a really creative one - im working on it and a good location.

I haven't come across any travel bugs or geocoins or anything special like that yet. I believe if we find a travel bug - we are encouraged to take and place it in another cache right? or only if we are traveling to another city or state??? and I guess geocoins etc are just fun to swap and collect new ones etc - right? Does anyone have a clear answer to these kinds of trades and items??? Can't wait for my first cache with either of these two items madkiwiman

I haven't seen anyone mention bringing their car with them - that would just about hold all the stuff that people carry - just hope that most caches in the hills/parks and bush have tracks right up to them right!

There must be more other creative cache stories out there - anyone?
