Garmin Europe will not uphold the guarantee of any U.S model, so if a fault occurs it has to go back to the U.S, all models are now serial coded, so Garmin know from which country & distributor it has come from. Also as previously mentioned Europe city select would be needed, & potentially have a compatibilty problem. Geko

There is a simple solution to this & that is that any MEMBERS ONLY CACHE, has to be members only from Birth, (no swapping of status) so that a non-premium member never gets the cache info in the 1st place. Thus this won't occur again Geko

Do a SSSI search on Nottinghamshire & there are quite a few SSSI Golf Courses, I'm sure turf (Divot) whacking will have more impact than cachers on other SSI'S. (not that I have anything against golfers I might add.) Geko

I am afraid I can confirm that you definately cannot download mem map into any Garmin unit !!! Gekocacher.

Yeah, visual OS mapping on Pc only, transfer, Waypoints & routes to Gps Only, the mapping detail you will get is akin to a roadmap or A-Z level, once you go away from the road you will have no mapping data, only your position in relation to your entered waypoints (at the correct scale), I.E No topogrphical info. (but your statement is pretty correct) have a play it's the only way

The internal memory on the 60CS is about 56mb so you will be able to get alot on it, you need to purchase the additional car kit (I assume you have for the turn by turn navigation autorouting) You cannot download OS map data into the unit, you can only transfer waypoints, routes, tracks etc... from the digital map on your Pc into the unit

Not sure the Fugawi stuff is imported from Canada, best alternative, uk produced & well priced is Memory Map, avail in 1:50 or 1:25 for the whole country, downloadable to pda / pocket Pc, full Areal photography avail for the Uk as well, just limited to the memory in your pda, then coonect gps or get a bluetooth device to position your pda.
