I'm having the same problem today. But it worked fine f or me yesterday. (First time I ever used it). Maybe it's crashing for everyone right now?

Thanks to all who answered my first question. I got the iphone and used it today along with the Geocache Ap. and found 2 caches. With Maps, the pinpoint was dead on. Here's my question...how do I enter coordinates into Google Maps, like when I calculate a new waypoint on a multi-cache...how do I enter the coordinates to search for them? What conversion or system do I use? Where do I put spaces and decimal points? Do I need to put in N or W? Can you even search Maps using GPS coordinates? I've tried 44.32747, -73.16.681 or N 44 32 747, W 73 16 681 and other variations, but keep getting a location that I know is wrong or a "can not understand request" message. Does the Geocache Ap. have a place to enter new coordinates? I couldn't find it. Thanks for any help. Arya

I'm a newbie...I don't even have a GPS device yet. I'm thinking of buying an iPhone and am wondering if it can be used as a GPS as is without downloading the Groundspeak geocache ap. If I do get the ap, it says it's $9.99. Is that a one-time fee or monthly? Thanks for your help! Arya
