  1. After creating the pocket query, on the main pq page there are 2 icons to the left of the name. One is to preview a list of the caches. The other is to view just the caches in the query on the gc.com maps. If you have your own mapping software, such as Mapsource, you may be able to load the pq and view the caches there.

  2. Many of the guidelines on this site are fairly general. A lot of the specific rules you hear about (clear containers, no ammo cans, within 50' of a trail) are put in place by the local authorities like the parks department.

  3. With so few caches in the country, there's no need to increase the distance. I just set up a test query. I selected India as the country and did NOT pick an origin point. I got 81 caches spread all over the country.

  4.

Anyone else remember when it was just 20 queries, and got increased to 40?

Yeah, I do and everybody was happier than a pig you know where. I don't recall Groundspeak ever saying you couldn't create an off-line database. But they don't want you to and won't support you doing it.

  5. If you ran a PQ yesterday and then try to it today, it won't run for a while. The most recently run PQs go to the back of the line. When you run a brand new PQ or one that hasn't run in a while, you should get it right away. The 'Add to Queue' button is for your 'My Finds' query, it can only be run once a week.
