  1. You can download free maps from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/
  2. Are you using a Mac? If so, after deleting the file you need to empty the trash can to completely remove the file.
  3. I'm still getting the new search page, but now there is a link to the old search page on the bottom right corner.
  4. Here is the cache that is at the coordinates you posted. Typing the coordinates in didn't work for you because of the colons. They need to be decimal points.
  5. Mrs.Hoagie, you're looking at the search results map and not the regular geocaching map, although they look virtually identical. Under the Play menu at the top of the page, click on 'View Geocache Map'. That will give you the map that can be scrolled around to view all the caches.
  6. To find all the caches in a state, leave the search box on the main search page empty, just click on 'Add Filters'. On the filter page start entering in the state name in the 'Search Only In' box. When that box is filled in, click on the 'Search' button. This will list all the caches in a state sorted from your home coordinates. You can click on the column headers to sort on the column information.
  7. You need to log out of the forums and log back in. That will reset yous status in the forums.
  8. If you're using the map page to search for caches, there is no need to use the new search page. Under the 'Play' menu, click on 'View Geocache Map'. That will take you to the map page centered on your home coordinates. It shows all the caches and can be scrolled as much as you need.
  9. Actually, the temperature can vary quite a bit at that time of year. It can get hot and humid, but there are also days much cooler. Here is a link to the temperatures in the area for the last 10 years
  10. It looks like you're getting pretty much the same answers as you got here.
  11. Did you load caches to the gps before you became a Premium Member? Try deleting all the caches from the gps and then reloading them. The gps units don't seem to like it when there are caches that were loaded while both a premium and a regular member.
  12. It looks like this cache here. You can click on the owner's name and send them an email through their profile. I'm sure they'll appreciate getting it back.
  13. You can download a 'My Finds' pocket query and load that into several different mapping programs such as Google Earth or Basecamp.
  14. Have you tried re-installing the plug-in? Deleting and then re-installing Internet Explorer may be causing problems.
  15. If the caches show up in the preview they'll be in the query if it's run right away. It sounds like a problem downloading the query to gsak. How are you downloading them into gsak?
  16. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=301957&view=findpost&p=5123209 Hmmm. Maybe the OP doesn't know the guidelines quite as well as they thought. The guideline: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#permanence
  17. That's strange. I tried that zip code on the regular search page and it worked fine. On the pocket query page, I got the same error.
  18. It sounds like some new caches have been placed in the area, which are showing up in the preview. The preview is showing the caches that would be included in the query if it ran today, not what was in it the last time the query ran.
  19. Did you select a day for the query to run? They usually run in a couple minutes.
  20. There's a Bookmark list of the caches in that series: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=06594edd-b4a8-464e-8d95-e1335268c125 You can create a pocket query from the Bookmark list to get what you want.
  21. I don't have an Oregon, but my understanding is you have to be navigating to a cache for the hint to show up.

    PQ's Not Running

New queries, that have never run before, run on their own server. You shouldn't have any problems getting them.
  23. How far away are the caches from your current location? Many gps units will only show caches out to a certain distance, around 100 miles I believe. Try searching by name to see if the caches are on the gps.
  24. Have you found any traveling caches? They are included in your cache finds total, but are not included on the statistics page.
