[Lame Micros]

This one has been my favorite lamest of the lame so far. I'm told it was hidden on a gas pump. The logs tell all.

 

It amazes me that in the pursuit to be "cleaver"...people forget to use common sense.

Guess it just goes to show - beauty and lameness are in the eye of the beholder (or the finder.)

 

This is one of my most memorable caches for one main reason - my 8 year old found it while I was pumping and he was so excited! He still talks about it today and it's finds like this that keep him involved.

 

The hider of this cache is a very clever cacher and I enjoy his hides!

Seriously, caching is going to help keep me young. I went after a FTF on Sunday - hubby was asleep and the two young Marauders didn't want to go out. Said the oldest: "What's with you, Mom? You never wanted to go out before geocaching!"

I get very upset in finding a cache full of oxygenated hydrogen. That stuff kills THOUSANDS of people every year and it is annoying as all get out to find it in a cache.

 

WHAT IRRESPONSIBLE CACHE OWNERS!

Yeah - ban the oxygenated hydrogen! Not just from caches - it's dangerous almost everywhere it's found!

Okay -

 

I'm an almost 40 year old geocacher. I'm also a teacher and interpret in sign language for some folks who are deaf. There are four of us on our team - my husband and my two sons.

 

I thought it might be kind of cool to have an avatar with representative figures (mom, dad, two sons) with the sign language for "search" incorporated somewhere.

 

Also, we're Morgan's Marauders so using two M's in there would be cool too.

 

Now - I don't ask for much - do I??

My sister, cousin and I are preparing a whirlwind tour of DC. What we need is a list of caches easily accessible from the metro stations around DC. Does anyone have anything like that?
