[How do I hoist a cache up in a tree?]

Hello all!

 

I am planning a new cache to place in my favorite local park. I have a giant matchstick-like container and I want to cover it in pine bark and hoist it up into a pine tree. I know there are many caches that are done this way, and was wondering if anyone has tips, or knows of a good youtube video or website, on how to do this? I want to use a thick fishing line so that the string is not visible, but wondering if it would possibly break down over time?

 

Anywho, any tips or points in the right direction are much appreciated!

We'll that's what I meant, UNTIL I can reach my goal then keep me in Southern Florida. But I guess you're way is a less confusing way of wording that. And the cruise ship idea is great, didn't think of that!

SO I'm setting the mission of my first geocoin to travel around Central and South America, in hopes that it can visit Costa Rica, since I can't get back there. The page is here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2699976

 

First, I need help translating the tag that will travel with it. I would like to have the tag in Spanish and English.

Here is what I got, if you could please help make sure the Spanish is correct and matches the English version I would GREATLY appreciate it! I don't want to offend anyone!

I mentioned on its page and the tag to keep it moving in southern Florida until someone can take it over there; is that a good idea? I know it's kinda the nature of the game, but I don't want it to take forever to get there!
