  1. I saw the title and was going to say Prescott AZ, but I saw someone already beat me to it The Raven's Labyrinth should be placed at Geocaching HQ in Seattle..It's world class as should be shared by everyone. It's so good they could make it coin operated and people would pay to get to the log. In addition, there more of Raven's caches that are must do..The Indiana Jones caches will make you swear you are Harrison Ford.. Ravenland, as it is called, is a Geocaching destination for all
  2. My wife and I are full time RVers who love to Geocache. We plan to do a caching tour this summer. We would like to do some power trails including, but not limited to Route 66, The ET Highway and the League of Idaho Caches in Idaho. We are currently in Mesa AZ and should be heading north sometime in early April. We would like to find at least one other couple who would like to join us for this great adventure. We are somewhat flexible as far as the route and dates go. Our motor-home can only accommodate two. If you would like to join us for all or part of this trip, let us know.
  3. I want to get a Trackable Travel Bug tattoo. Has anyone ever heard of someone doing this?
  4. Dakotoa Dawgs .... I'm curious ... will Jerry be deployed with or without his ashes? It certainly something to consider ...I'd try it for my memorium project but am reluctant to think grandpa bud ended up in the great unknown ... it's a leap of faith and very honorable to send a bit of Jerry about the world. Thanks for sharing your story and happy trekking Jerry A little bit of Jerry will be in the bison tube when it's deployed. I think that's the only way he would want it. A picture and a short note will be attached. What's the status of Jerry? Just found this thread and as a former "logger" off Uncle Elwyn would be interested to watch Jerry's travels. Thanks for the interest. Jerry is currently in Niederösterreich, Austria..He's been on quite an adventure. You can check his status using TB2AVF4 <tracking number removed by moderator, reference number inserted instead> (shhh, keep the tracking number secret, only known to those who actually find it out there, use the reference number from the TB page)
  5. I went to the dollars store and bought a 56 piece jigsaw puzzle, wrote coordinates on the back and used it in a mutli. It has gone over very well. Wally World sometimes have them for 99 cents

  7. Thanks for all the positive replies. Looks like we'll be deploying Jerry sometime this month from Naples, Fl. I will post the info here when he leaves incase anyone would want to follow his adventures..
  8. My brother did not know anything about geocaching but he was an adventurer who wanted to travel the world, but because of finances and his premature death he never got the chance to. I am thinking of putting some of his ashes in a bison tube that will be glued closed and sending him on his way. Is this too far over the edge?
  9. Ok, I see that now.. Thanks I missed that..Makes sense..
  10. I just had an idea for a cache. I want to talk to the manager at the local Goodwill store to place a cache inside the store. The requirement to sign the log would be to bring something to the store to donate, then the clerk would hand over the logbook to sign. What do you think? Never mind I now see that it's off limits
  11. I have been thinking that with so many of us, spending so much time in the woods, it would be a great opportunity for all of us to give back to nature by sponsoring a plant a tree event once or twice a year. Tree saplings are cheap enough and easy to plant. Do you like the idea? Would you participate?
