  1. Here's another one: GCG2K4. I don't remember the exact details, but the owner included the whole story in the cache.
  2. You'll have to host it on a site like this or this, which will provide you with the URL to your image. (use the "direct link to image")

This site has lots of geocaching words and their meanings. Welcome to the hobby!
  5. The Garmin eTrex Yellow is usually a good choice. Its prices range between $80 and $150. It's simple to use and gets the job done.
  6. If that page existed, wouldn't it be on your internet's history?
  7. A lot of people got that e-mail. It worked fine for me.
  8. When you went into detail, that's what popped into my mind. I know it's bad quality and probably won't work anyway, so if anyone wants to fix it up/use the idea, go ahead.
  9. Just 3 right now (NC, NJ, and FL), but hopefully I'll do some caching this week when I'm on vacation in SC.
  10. I know of a Girl Scout troop that was taken on a letterboxing outing before. They had fun, but the leaders hid their own temporary letterboxes as opposed to taking them to actual listed ones, so they didn't get the full experience. I think it would be fun for the scouts to be taken geocaching, and who knows? They might get hooked.
  11. Same thing happened to me with the multi. I entered the final stage's co-ords wrong, but it only left me about 300 ft away. Not too bad.
  12. Just recieved some - very cool. However, when I try to log them on the website, it says the page cannot be found. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Edit: Nevermind, it seems to be working now. Don't know what was wrong before.
  13. Just two: Garmin Geko 101...I dropped it - it broke... Garmin eTrex...current
  14. Well, a cache can't be buried; it's against the guidelines. When you think you're in the right area, just stop and think, "if I were a cache, where would I be?" Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. But hang in there! Go out and try some more caches the next chance you get!
  15. And yet again, Jeremy saves the day!
  16. Umm, what do you mean by 'G'. It might help us to understand what you are talking about when you say 'ripped off'. The "G" numbers are referring to the waypoint names. (GC****)
  17. Is that a premium member function? I don't seem to see it...... Nope! I am able to do it and I am not a premium member.
  18. Wait - you're giving away your GPS because of the waypoint names? Would you like us to try to explain it a little better? I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the GPS
  19. Right All the "G" numbers are are "abbreviations" for the caches. That's it. If it's confusing, you can just ignore them.
  20. The waypoint ("G" 6-digit code) is just an identifier to you/your GPS of the cache so you don't have to use the full name. It's not necessary to finding the cache, but it can make things easier on you to help figure out which cache you're hunting.
  21. Exactally. The coordinates (N 46° 48.703 W 071° 19.213) lead you to the cache, while the waypoint (GCRT19) simply is a way to identify the cache (L'Enfer de Dante #1).
