  1. I would like to order three (3) coins. Can anyone help me? There is nothing to click on when I follow the link poosted.

You are probably looking at a "cached" page. Hold the control key down and click on the refresh button on that page and see if the paypal buttons show up.

    Got it. Thanks.

    That was a little frustrating!

No doubt the extra adrenalin did me good.

Click on one of the white paypal square images after you enter your geonick in the box.

There is nothing to click on. There is no "Paypal square."

  3. ... there's clearly nothing stopping people from making coins for places they don't go to/live in/etc and it's already happened. I don't know exactly who all is making a profit, but I know some are. I would love to see a rule that stops people from making coins for places they really have nothing to do with at present.

Try to imagine how such a "rule" would work. Who would enforce it? How? Why?

What would be the rationale for such a rule? If I want to make a Martian coin, who am I hurting or even inconveniencing?

  4. 6) Do not try a dumb idea like the sheriff cards

My bet is that Welch wanted to know what "sheriff cards" are. I want to know also, so I will ask directly: What are sheriff cards?

    Thanks,

    It's all about the caches!

  5. Interesting that most who responded traded rather than sold their personal coins. Is there some stigma attached to selling ones personal coin? Surely there are lots of coins for sale. I am new to the hobby and haven't amassed enough to trade yet. I can only get them by buying them. Is there some disgrace attached to a "bought and paid for" coin? :)

When I buy a coin, I generally buy 3: 1 keep and 2 traders. When they get delivered, I will have something to trade. Will I have to trade my keepers away so that my collection is pure?

How is trading coin for coin better than trading coin for $coin$? <_<

Maybe I'm reading too much into the thread. :)

  6. Thanks for including our team! We am not sure what holiday we Pastafarians are celebrating at this time of year, but it's nice to share everyone else's holidays.

  7. Take heart, ParentsofSAM. I only have a couple coins. They are worth the wait.

Learn a Carly Simon tune while you're waiting!

    "Anticipation, anticipation

    Is making me late

    Is keeping me waiting"

When you start getting your coins and going into debt, you can learn the rest of the song:

"Those were the good old days..." :)
