  3. At Nov 29, 2003 will there be a nightcaching-event in Göteborg, Sweden. It will be a multicache in an old militaryarea that nowaday is open for the public. There a good public transportations at the area, and also free parking. The name of the area is Kviberg, and it is located just a couple of minutes away from Göteborg City. Link to the cachepage: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=99433 Please leave a note on the cachepage if you gonna show up... The event will start around 18.00 (6pm) and take a couple of hours...<BR><BR>Open for everybody! http://www.hedbergx3.tk
  4. A smiley disappeared in my last post. www.hedbergx3.tk
  5. If you want to build your own approver, or have a icon to pray in front of, look here: BR (In Swedish) www.hedbergx3.tk
  6. This might be a stupid question, but are you the only approver nowadays? It used to be two before; Erik and Crow-T. Or will they also be helping you out? www.hedbergx3.tk
  7. I was just starting to wonder in which timezone the new approver are! The reason is that Tahu Nuva wanted to know a thing of one of my new caches, and sent the answer and the cache was approved like 1 minute later. And this was just a couple of minutes ago (10.20 GMT+1 (Swedish time!)). And in the US should that be around 3-4 in the morning... Anyway, it doesn't matter who or where Tahu Nuva is, the only thing that matters is that the cachers get approved correctly and quick. www.hedbergx3.tk
  8. Hi, we are looking for a used Garmin Etrex Legend or other GPSr that can show maps. We live in Sweden. www.hedbergx3.tk
  9. Hi Erik, I think that our english has been improved since we started with geocaching The most logs and caches are written in english here in Sweden. I hope you will find someone that can help you out. Keep up the good work! www.hedbergx3.tk
  10. I noticed this a couple of days ago, when I was writing the text for a mystery cache, and put out "Do not approve this one yet!" like 5 times! Everytime I edited the text was that window (note to approver) empty. Finally when I looked how the listing looked lite, did I see all my notes. All 5 of them... www.hedbergx3.tk
  11. But it happens sometimes also that the hider gives the last coordinates as the cache coordinates. I have seen that a couple of times. www.hedbergx3.tk
  12. Earlier today I noticed something for the first time, when I was browsing the pocket query I get with all caches in Stockholm-area. The most of the caches I read about, had only swedish information about the cache! That is wrong. www.hedbergx3.tk
  14. In the logbook do we normally write in Swedish (we have only been caching in Sweden yet.) On internet we try to write in english, but on some pages we write in swedish (depending on the rest of the loggers have written in swedish also.) www.hedbergx3.tk
  15. I prefer when the information about the cache is written in english only if it's a LONG text. For a short description, I think it's optional if you want to write in several languages. But if it's a long text, it will be annoying to have so much to read, and for the people who print it out on paper, will it also be a lot of pages to print. But I hate when people write in the native language only. www.hedbergx3.tk
  16. This is just what I requested a couple of days ago, but the finns wants to write in finnish. www.hedbergx3.tk
  17. There is a lot of messages here in finnish. How many in Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Iceland can understand finnish? It would be easier if people wrote in english, also wrote their logs if possible in english. There is a lot of people coming here for caching, from other countries. They can't understand what the logs or even in some cases: the cachepage. Sometimes people write the cachepage in the local language without an english translation. That will of course make it very difficult for non-local language speaking persons to understand! Of course would I and hopefully a lot of other persons within the nordic countries understand what you finnish guys are talking about, it might be good for us to know or discuss.
  18. Noticed during this weekend that some of the caches I was trying to read on my PDA didn't have the logs. In some cases, the coordinates missed a digit. Does this happens sometimes, or are we doing something wrong? We have only been premium members since a week back or so.
  19. Since a week back or so, I have noticed if you find a webcam cache and tries to log it, the log will not be 'checked' and in grey background color in the list. Also the premium membership files I receive includes webcam cache I have found, even that I have checked that I don't want to get caches I have found. The same problem if you filter search, it will not show found caches. But now it shows found webcam caches. Can this be fixed please?

    Egypt

I can't find any good information about where the caches in Egypt are. We are planning of travelling to Sharm-al-shejk (spelt something like that) for holiday, and wonder if anyone of the 12 caches in Egypt are close-by?
  21. I haven't cached anything in Stockholm, but I have seen a couple of names of the persons that have caches in that area. Here is some of their usernames: IT-gubben gustaf Jesper1 sekholm Blue_SE I don't know anyone of them, but I have seen that they have a lot of caches in that area, and if you contact them by sending mail to them, they might be able to help you out! Good luck Claes in Göteborg, Sweden

    Membership?

The reason I asked, is that I have a couple of $10 and $20 bills here at home. Instead of changing them to our local swedish currency, I thought of sending them to Geocaching.com But I think I will have to go thru Paypal....

    Membership?

I tried to mail but I haven't got any response on it. Let's try here - I don't know if this is the correct forum, but I took one that hade geocaching.com in it's topicname. Hi, I'm a swedish guy that doesn't understand the phrase "..or money order.." in the page about how you can be a member at geocaching.com-site. Does this mean that I can send a mail with $30 in the envelope to the adress? Best regards, hedberg
  24. Forget this, because geocaching.com didn't allow me to do this, they think that the US Graveyard is enough...
