  1. I'm no longer able to maintain my hides thus looking for anybody interested in adopting the three remaining.
  2. I agree, it seems that the cache owner needs to have control as to whether cordinates are verified. I have been thinking about posting some bogus coordinates and saying it was found!
  3. Thanks fishy, you reminded me why I placed a cache on the other side of the pond! I have my caching style that I thought TUS might like to try.
  4. Hmmm, take Blind Leader out for some tough ones for practice and to give me a bit of time. Otherwise it might just have to be a scrap of paper in one of the shotgun shells under the power lines on the way to Sugarloaf.
  5. Be careful what you ask for Brain Pain might be the result Edit to add link to approved listing.
  6. I went last year and had fun but I still wonder why everybody kept kicking me!
  7. My theory is proving to be true. Even M10B has an evil side, just look at all the bickering caused by his coins.
  8. I find this topic to be of much interest. Hides by Dr. Koska were the geocaching rage in early 2003 and they are still legendary. Following his last hide in February Nellie placed his Green Lake Challenge which also brought rave reviews. It was at this point I was ready to try some hides and evil was where the action seemed to be. My first hide was a needle in a haystack but the esteemed cachers disagreed on the desirability of this type of hide. This promptly caused me to change my thinking and Check and Recheck was deployed. I continue to be astounded by the amount of time sent looking for evil hides. Based on the time and effort spent it must be the type of hides that were desirable. This fever along with continued reverence for the Koska hides was the basis for my seven hides. Being tough and usually requiring multiple visits I used locations that would be readily accessible thus they tend to be crowded into the Redmond area. Well limited locations and a lull in creativity put me in semi retirement. Another problem exists in the Redmond area first to find fever. Some really active Redmond geocachers not only need a high find count but they need to find it first. Beamin Demon met this need by scattering numerous hides that brought little reward beyond first to find. Little thought or creativity and no follow up maintenance… ..just feed the fever. Excluding caches by size bothers me. I’ll bet the bison capsules hidden by M10B are well worth finding as are many decon hides. Micros have been targeted but speaking to the legendary Koska keeps the evil fever alive. So I would like to see the tone of this forum address the cause a bit more rather than just belittle poor hides, micros in particular. Enough muttering from an old fool; it’s time to sit and watch wondering what the future will bring.
  9. MGTS, Now you have me running scared! You went and found some Keds (yes a photo please) and I fear you may hold me to upgrading my foot wear. Poor timing, spring is here and I love barefoot comfort. Well I hope to buy some time; wear your new Keds a bit and see if they aren't more comfortable than your last purchase. Maybe, (read in my dreams) we may even find a cache to hunt barefoot together. FOF
  10. Humph, Anybody that wishes PEACE can never expect to be compared to my evilness let alone that of Mr. E or the Beamin' Demon. Way too much time spent on the west side reading about evil rather than coming to the east side to seek real evil! FOF
  11. My oh my, such different worlds. You want company to visit Redmond while Shopping Malls scare me to death I have no doubt that you will visit Redmond often
  12. Jeeesh, Not hate, just wanting the likes of Fen (and myself) to remember the realities; our world is different than yours. The chances of getting us into Colehaans are about as likely as you wearing Keds to the opera! This is the first time I am aware that you publically acknowledged that I even exist and it is unlikely that we will ever meet since you seem to avoid my hides. Not that it matters (my point to Fen) could you ever really like us for who we are or just be nice? just me, FOF
  13. Mr. E, You have me confused! Why would you be trying to solve this hide? Are you changing your ways? Is that MGTS creating weakness amonst us? FOF
  14. Yeah I started looking at the 123 last night...what?!!!! Gonna take some figuring anyrate, I'll probably finish off the other one iwth the big group Saturday Just a little holiday gift for all the Eastside Geocachers!
  15. Be patient my dear Pepper, one is in work. Some things worth doing take a while
  16. And to your serve of MGTS I return with Mr. E
  17. My Dear Pepper, I see you found "Issy" as its been labled! I suggest you hurry and get those chores caught up because I have good news and bad news for you. Because of my nature let me give you the bad news; while in the area dancing on your porch I was also scouting my next hide. The good news; well you can let TNLNSL rest a bit because it will be within walking distance of your home! Why you ask? Well let's say I didn't appreciate the the way you cluttered up Issy with cheer! Now how is your confidence? At my worst, FOF
  18. The whole works has been found! Back to the drawing board
  19. Noogie Chairperson Lucy, Does one of Pepper's pieces of art go along with the noogie? FOF
  20. Lucy, I have to give you Noogie! My satisfaction is knowing that it took five sets of eyes the better part of two hours and some "divine" help to find it! TeamIAG and Evergreenhiker! didn't have such an honor!
