  1. I love puzzle caches. I'm fairly new to the sport myself, but I've solved one or two. The first thing I do when I encounter a puzzle is ask myself how I'm supposed to get coordinates out of it. Count things. Is there anything in groups of seven that you can get digits out of to make coordinates? The most important thing I've found is to be patient with yourself when solving the puzzles. It's taken me several hours to solve some, but the more I solve, the quicker I get. Plus, to me, solving a good puzzle is a lot more rewarding than finding a magnetic nano in a light pole at the local grocery store.
  2. I've really only done one multi, but I really enjoyed it. It's GCTMHY in Sykesville, MD. You get five clues related to baseball, like "high and outside" and you have to walk between the baseball fields in the park and look for the next coordinates using those hints. The catch is that you don't know what order to look for them in. It's a really fun cache put together by a really clever hider.
