Hi all, Dad and I are thinking of doing our first cache this saturday. As a trade for items in a cache I was thinking of putting in some of my collection from the old Paulenskill railroad line. Having been buried for atleast 50 yrs, it is VERY rusty and I was wondering what you guys (and gals) think of this? It isn't sharp, just rusty, I was thinking they would make great cache items because of the history they carry. Thanks, sorry for the grammar, ~Phil

When I punch cords into my etrex vista (Not HCX) I'm not sure how it leads me to the cord location.. it doesn't put me on a map with an arrow, it doesn't do...anything.. .. please help.

Hi all, My dad and I just got the Etrex Vista (Norm, not HCX or anything) and the manuel is waayyy to confusing for my limited cranium capacity ( ) so I'm just wondering, how do you type in cordnates and navigate to 'em? Thanks, forgive my stuipidity, ~Phil

I ordered by Etrex Vista for geocaching, but it would be a huge plus if its useable for like, streeet nav. Can it do street nav?

Hello, The Etrex Vista my dad and I recently ordered uses a serial connection cable. Were can you buy Serial-USB adapters? Secondly, will it make a HUGE difference using serial besides USB?
