Alastor, are you importing caches into same folder? If so, Locus should ask if you want to overwrite existing cache or not. You may also use this settings http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual:settings:geocaching - "Keep data during import" that allow to keep your own waypoints, notes, etc. even if you overwrite old cache with new

Hi, just to inform you. You may write tag directly in Locus. Into this tag you may include not just coordinates, but whole point together with some specific action that should be done when this tag will be loaded. Anyway count that this tag may be then read only by Locus itself. Other apps will not be able to read it

I'm more then sure that Locus have all you need for full Offline geocaching. If you cannot find any feature, feel free to ask ...

what are your problems with locus? You cannot download it from market? it have to be some market issue ...

In Locus, just go into screen with list of points and check all points you want to show. Every checked item will be visible on map!

did you tried Locus application? It allow you to cache offline maps directly in app from various sources and also load PQ files with all data, together with many interesting features. Recommend

I also suggest to try Locus. It also use only Pocket Query files, so fully offline solution, but together with bunch of available maps and another features, it's great app

Hmm, so ... about map download. Look here .. http://www.asamm.cz/?page_id=667. Click on top left map button and then Download tab. Here you can select what to download. Play with this a little. About zoom layers, you should choose which to download by your opinion. Just download it's, that you find useful. On screen with data managing, you should import PQ files. Some desciption about how to import PQ files is here. And about the manual ... I'm developer and I really don't like writing manuals . Second think is that Locus is still in active developing and until all main things, I wanna do, will not be completed, I'll not do any manuals. If you have any specific problem, write on Locus homepage forum and I'm sure that me or any user will answer you ...

Hi, Locus can be used only for offline geocaching, so you can download maps directly in Locus (or by any other method on desktop computer) and import Pocket Queries into separate category in Locus. If you have any problem with getting this to work, write email to developer with your problem, surely he will help you

hi Matejcik, you're right, I just named save game as gws file, which really confuse players. So renamed to ows. about problem with ASPX files. As was many times wrote, and is also on WhereYouGo page on android market!!, you have to download cartridge through dektop PC browser, not buggy phone browser. All will work fine then (has extension "gwc", not "aspx").

Hi, when you plug in phone as Mass storage device, SD Card is not available for appliacions, so WhereYouGo says that cannot connect to SD Card correctly. Just unplug you cable or select "Charge only" connection type ... cartridge *.gwc, place directly into WhereYouGo folder, not in any subfolder

Hi to all, thanks to some folks, I just repaired two major bugs in WhereYouGo application (before few minutes posted to market). If you had some problems before, try it now. If you also feel that WhereYouGo works differently than original Wherigo player, you may try it now too. Maybe you'll be nice surprised (and maybe not ). Hi, are you sure that directly downloaded cartridge is same as downloaded on PC? Look also on name of cartridge if ends with gwc. For WhereYouGo doesn't matter how you download cartridge. Maybe you should try another then default browser (his terrible when comes on downloading items).

today I posted new version on Android Market. Main news are experimental support for Android 1.5 (will be glad for some response if it's working correct) and big fix of Details screen (which blocked completing of some caches) ... if version from market will not be visible for 1.5 systems, download it e.g. here good hunt

Hi all ziggy: as I know, all android phones will be updated to 1.6 or higher android version. Sorry, but 1.6 has some features that, as I wrote to John, use in my library. coreynjoey: good hunt core of app is based on matejicek's openWig, so if you have some problems that point to 'core', we should solve it on openWig google code. Otherwise, best is write me mail to whereyougo@asamm.cz. PS: good luck to all ... my results - two successful Wherigo completed, after saturday, i founded some bugs, so new rapidly improved version on market hopefully solve most of them ...
