Figured it out. I had to use the jjreds01 in the advanced mode macro and unselect the default of TourGuide and select Proximity (on Route) to get it to work. Works fine now! Thanks.

Just got a new Nuvi 500, updated all of my software and tried to get the Proximity Points Alerts working. Darn thing just won't alert. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I need help. Please.... -
