I think it is so unimportant which kind of map we use. The map is just an additional help to locate in general. You do not really need the map for going out and find the box. It is just useful to plan your day trip, nothing more. So for what is this conversation good for? Napalmrocks

Yes, might be possible. But I thing exactly the honor system would be responsible, that members who really go out for a cache and find the individual code in that special cache, would not tell it to a friend or someone who will post it somewhere. So if you would try to fake a log, it would be much more difficult to a) get the right code from the corresponding log book and b ) if you got it from somewhere, it would take more time to log. Hello all together, in our area (Berlin), are too many people who log caches although they never even tried to go out and find the cache! They are just interested in having a huge number of founds to pose. A password or anything else, chosen by the owner and listed in his log book, that would be needed to log in the interned would help. Napalmrocks
