  1. Awesome, I was worried that with multiple programs, there may be some problems. Sounds like you just have to switch between programs in Mapsource...Thanks a bunch.
  2. I purchased the CD and also bought a 1Gb micro SD card. Remember that no matter what size card you get, you can only put 2025 map segments on from the Topo CD. I have a 60 Csx, and can increase the Micro SD up to 2 Gb but, I can only load 2025 segments from Topo reguardless ...Hope this helps .
  3. Was just wondering, I have Garmin Topo 3.02 downloaded on my computers hard drive, using instructions I found on this forum. I access the map sheets through Mapsource. If I purchase Topo 2008, Can I download it in the same fashion, or do I need to delete the files from 3.02 before installing the 2008 version? Would I want both versions on the computer ? I would appreciate any advice !
  4. I found mine on Ebay. With a rebate I believe I paid only $349.99. Good Luck...
  5. I wasn't sure just how much improvement over previous software each update provided, I know around the St. Louis area there is alot of street/highway improvement in progress. I was just wondering if Garmin's maps get the updated information , previous to new construction being done ??? Just a thought ...
  6. I have a Garmin 60 Csx with City Navigator version 8, and Topo version 3.02 and was just wondering, On the current updates for each, is it really worth the effort ? Or should I wait a while ? Can there be that many changes since I purchased them ? ( one year ago). The City Nav update for the regular (non N T version) is $75.00, only through Garmin. I'm just trying to keep from getting into a yearly investment to update software.
  7. Motorcycle mama is right, I found out as well Topo is limited to 2025 segments. The download time was rather lengthy. 2 Gb cards will hold all of City Nav but, no matter what size card you have, Topo will only hold 2025 segments.
