  1. The Northern Right Whale just swam its way to my home today. What a great coin, thanks a lot!
  2. Wow, great looking coin. Although it is expensive, I'll definitely buy one. Is there a chance we see the silver version? And how do you change the version on your preorder cart?
  3. Same here, I wrote to you that the 8" floppy disks (yes, the big soft ones!) can be found within a meter of me right now. Did you get my e-mail? The rest of my offers have already been taken, so I won't bother with them anymore. Do you need a picture for proof?
  4. Feathers, kitty bookmark, floppy disks and earplugs accounted for. You've got mail!
  5. We're in! It will be our biggest geocoin... wow!
  6. Wow, I've finally replied to all who sent me requests for trades or purchases of our coin so I can get to work now Oh yeah, the pic I previously posted doesn't do justice to the great cakes we made so here's another picture!
  7. We too had a blast at our event. The weather was not as bas as announced and the cakes were very much appreciated! However, Swiss people are not great coin collectors (no kidding!) so I have tons of coins left. I am not interested in trading so I can have the whole set, but I will review every request, whether I like the offered coin or not. They can also be bought so I can plan more coins in the future! I already have these people on my trading list : Lucecitka Da_Muggle Bo.T.L. The Moop Along t@ndre + two swiss people who couldn't come to the event and asked for some. I probably won't have much time to proceed through the requests today, but I will do my best to take care of it in the beginning of the week.
  8. That's some good news! Count me in for round two! Reservation is so much better for international coin-lovers! Thanks Tsun for this great news.
  9. I too have missed out on the sale of Pax the baby dragon, silly human nature that requires sleep...! Does anyone have an extra one (any version will do!) they want to trade or sell? You will find my trading list in the sig line (be sure to check the traders!) Thanks in advance!
  10. As usual, sales are up in the middle of the night, between 11 PM and 5 AM. Not a chance. Does anyone have any extra Pax they're willing to trade?
  11. Wow! So many coins given... Your generosity is amazing! I was so surprised to be among the winners! Congrats to everyone and thanks for the great cointest. You've got mail with our address.
  12. Our coins have also made it to Switzerland! Phew, at long last. I am relieved! And they look so great! Thanks to all who contributed to make this group coin possible, it has been a very enjoyable experience.
  13. Another shot in the dark... Astro Geocoin Spring Breeze?
  14. No idea... Are you giving a The Real Adventurer, by any chance?
  15. Oooooh, I love it! What a cute little otter! That's one coin for which I'd spend some money.
  16. I'll give it a try! Geocoins Tiny, round or shaped Bright and shimmering colours-- Blooming springflowers
  17. Or maybe a Wildlife Muggle Troubles Tasmanian Devil
  18. Still no news of our coins. Detailed Results: International Dispatch, April 16, 2010, 9:43 am, ISC SAN FRANCISCO (USPS) Arrival Electronic Shipping Info Received, April 15, 2010 Processed through Sort Facility, April 15, 2010, 3:23 pm, SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84199 And only one week left to go. I'm very much afraid we might have to disappoint many people...
  19. How about giving your Northern right whale ? Or do you have a hidden list somewhere with your unactivated geocoins?
  20. At least yours won't have to cross the volcanic ashes cloud... Things don't look too good on our side of the Pond.
  21. It would seem like this is not the case here around where events occur twice a year. The primary purpose of our event was to celebrate the 10 years of geocaching with a big BBQ and some games and then if people wanted, they could have gone caching afterwards. Even that is not permitted because the reviewer thinks that 5 caches is the main reason why people will come to our event. Please do check with your local reviewer before going through all the hard work of thinking out 23 caches! Just my 2 cents... Just where does one draw the line between purposes? Is sharing a BBQ and some games not a purpose enough for people to gather together? How does one decide whether caching is the purpose or not? Just curious. *Edit* for clarification and typos
  22. I tried to have 5 caches published for the date of my event in May, contacted the reviewer to have them checked and was told it is against the guidelines because an event is not for group hunting. So either I had to put more than 1.5 km between my caches and reduce the boxes numbers, or to let go of the idea. Note that there is only one preexisting cache in a radius of 5 km around the event, so talk about saturation! Silly me, planning things in advance and having all the boxes filles, painted and labelled already. Will never do it again. I thought you might know of that experience of mine before planning that many caches. You run the risk of seeing all your hard work go to waste.
  23. Easter Bunny seems to have found a working plane to Europe! There was a lovely glittery purple and yellow egg (#007) waiting for me in a cache. Thanks Bunny and stay safe in your travels!
  24. Let's try a Keeper of the Cache Geocoin! Thanks for the cointest!
  25. Shipping info received, the coins have just been shipped. Which means they have exactly two weeks to cross the pond and arrive home. Which is the standard time for my coins to come from the USA, one by one. If the size of the parcel induces problems, they won't make it. This event is starting to give me a serious headache, between the late arrival of the coins and this obscure unwritten rule that says that one owner cannot place caches within 1.5 km of each other in a time period of three months. So much for my great cache series for our attendants to enjoy.
