I have this problem as I have not done my first cache yet. I recently purchased a Garmin 38 off of E-Bay. Realizing it is an older generation GPS I didn't expect it to be extreemly sensitive, however, today I attempted my madin voyage. I punched in the coordinates, went to the park that was pointed out on the map and turned on the unit. I gave it about 5 minutes to get a fix. I was then very dissapointed when the GPS tells me I am 19.3 miles away from the cache. I had the right park, so I am wondering if my GPS can actually be that far out of whack and if there is anything I can do to correct the problem??
Thanks in advance!
