  1. It would probably be simpler if you listed it on ebay and gave a link here. It seems kinda strange but your post to me reads like one of those letters you get as spam asking to collect money from an African bank account. Good luck with your fund raising. I assure you this is no spam. If it was, would I put my entire name and more importantly, where I teach? There is a plethora of information on the web about this spectacular young man whose life was cut short last week. I will indeed put it up on ebay this evening and I will post a link on the forums for any interested party. Again, all monies will be given directly to the family. I will not keep one cent. Please bid with your heart. Thanks again, Corey Good deed my friend. I can vouch for Corey's cause just as much as Tank's and 'Tracy's awhile back. BD83.
  2. I'll start it off Corey with a private message. <bid removed byu moderator>
  3. I know they are few and far between, but I'm sure that these caches are out there someplace.
  4. I've got one sort of like that, but I'm waiting on it's next anniversary date to really rub it in. I think it's going to be a national record on this particular topic, so I wanted to find out for sure.
  5. So far, thats the only way I've been able to see where someone lives outside of the state is through their profiles. Unless they just happen to put their home state in their logs.
  6. The finder wasn't present when the cache was hidden, so what's the problem? To me, it's the same thing as logging a cache you just have gotton out of your hands when you placed it, or signing the log when your buddy hides it. But different people play the game their own way. Most of us mountain people stick to the original way of hiding and finding caches, and others have developed different aspects of the game suited to their surroundings. But its not about the #'s, they can't help you out in a jam.
  7. I've seen cases where a couple would be traveling and stop to hide a micro. One would hide the container while the other one would be in the store or rest area. Then the hider would give the cords and the finder would"claim" a FTF and log it . After I was the second legitamite finder, I refused to log it and others they have placed withing a very short driving distance. So no, logging your own finds is lame. Unless it is an event.
  8. In the great 50 states, what is the longest a cache placed in one state has never been found by someone that lives in that particular state?
  9. I think I'm going to bow out on these. Between the extra cost of the coins and shipping, and the 30 minimum, they don't seem to be as good of a deal as the first ones. And the first ones were suppose to have a custom icon as well, but mine doesn't show one. Just a cent icon.
  10. The Jan. 31st deadline for the pokerchip coins is up, so when are they going to be on the auction block? Some of the few who had them made are kind of curious as to how much they will bring Tracy and Tank. And thanks to Matt for donating so much of his own time and funds for the cause. The coins being made for them is a great idea and I'll take a set.
  11. I'll donate to the poker chip coin auction. And one of my super rare personal coins as well. Just email with the shipping info and I'll be glad to help. BD83.
  12. I recieved mine in the mail and am really pleased how they turned out. Nice trackable coins at good prices. How about maybe some copper coins on the next go around? They are usually pretty cool looking. But I won't get many of the b.n. coins though, its like painting a Delorean.
  13. I like the way the coins are myself. TNT went out of their way to get some custom colors on this project, even with the good value on these coins. This is a really good group project and some have forgotten about keeping the prices low. I'm currently having my own personal coin minted besides these, and I wish the price could be as low as these are. And they don't even have colors or tracking numbers/icons and such. Good job guys.
