I bought the Nuvi 660 first and now I have the Nuvi 60CX for geocaching and very happy with it.

I got a 2gig card from Newegg for $14 shipped and I recently got the City NavigatorNT 2009 and I just transferred the whole US region and it took only 920 megs of space. I thought that was pretty slick now to fill up the rest of the space with waypoints and maps.

We had a blast at the camp and the picnic. The muscles are sore from the fire tower and the hikes. Who enjoyed that rain last night? I am glad we went and we look forward to the fall picnic and I should have some caches under my belt by then and will have some stories to tell.

Checking the weather reports and depending on what site I go to sounds like there will be rain either on Friday or Saturday or both and the temps are going to be in the chilly side. I need all the help I can get figuring out the GPS unit. I will be there around 6ish. Everyone is welcome to drop by campsite 20 and say Hi to the noob.

I got my new GPS'er today. I am reading the manual as fast as I can. I will be there on Friday around 4ish. I am in campsite 20. So I need help from fellow cachers. I got the Garmin GPSMap 60Cx after doing a lot of research.

I have been looking to get a gps myself and Amazon sometimes seems to have good deals on the Garmin gps systems. Good luck on your purchase.

Ok I took the plunge and reserved a tent. I am on tent site #20 so I am two tents over from Jenischmeni. So I will have to check out the Tent Condo that you have. We got our tent from Wally World a couple weeks back. Since I have never camped before a coworker suggested I get the same type he has. Its a 6 person tent and its pretty tall. I am going to try to get it up when the weather is good. My girlfriend loves to fish so she is looking forward to that. I have to check out if they let animals in that site as we have a mini doxie and she would have fun as well. On another note I have narrowed down my first GPS device. I have a Garmin Nuvi for my car so I like Garmin Products. I have narrowed down my selection to the Garmin GPSMap 60cx or the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx. Any suggestions wouild be helpful? I see in Amazon they are like 30 dollars price difference.

Thank you Jenischmeni and Lakedawgs. I appreicate the welcome. I used to live in Greenwood more like Southport and I sure do miss Indy. I am hoping to move down there next summer. I have a question is it better to get a tent site even though I am like 25 miles from Bluffton. I dont know what to do. I am also trying to do camping with the kids so I might not have the best looking tent if I decide to get a tent site. I take it that everyone is there for the weekend on Friday night and then leave on Sunday morning......
