I just got a new Garmin gpsmap62s to replace my gps60csx and I am lost as to how to use it on my laptop running Windows7. It doesn't seem to want to communicate with easy gps or mapsource and Garmin just wants you to go to their site and use their program. they also don't supply much information on how to use their unit except on their site. What programs can be used to transfer information between this GPSr and Geocaching.com and my laptop? I have always used spinner and easygps along with my palm z22. They worked great. Any help would be much appreciated GR

has anyone had any experience with win 7 and plucker? I tried to run it and it will only run in compatibility mode and won't load the cache information. it just locks up. I am using win 7 pro and gps spinner. the program is to set up my palm with the geocache information. Thanks Gene

Ithink that we can eliminate easy gps, spinner, the gps60csx and the maps themselves. that leaves mapquest as the problem. the reason that I used easygps is because that is whayt spinner gives me along with the cache folder it also gives me spinner gpx but my way I don't have to change anything. Maybe someday Garmin will fix the problem. thanks for your input. it helped me . GR

I am using a GPS60CSX and Mapsource to transfer geocaches from my computer . I use GPS SPINNER to unlock my querys and easygps to send them to mapquest the catagories change from caches to hunting area, pharmicy or other catagories randomly. If I download them that way they will turn up in waypoints but not in geocaches and that changes the way they can be located. I have topo2007 installed and city na (partial) also. If I use Easygps direct the caches show up correctly in the Garmen. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? thanks GR

yes I am getting pocket querys and spinning them ,then using plucker to download to my palm. This system was outlined in a help page in Groundspeak. It just dosen't have any way to send the information to the gps that I can find. I have downloaded easy gps but have not installed it yet. I just want to use the best system for both the gps and the palm. thanks for your help

can anybody point me in the right direction reguarding multi waypoint download to my GPS60csx? I went the route of using gpx-spinner and plucker to download to my palm z22 and it works ok but I can't find any way to load the information into my gps except from each page on the search page. do I need another program to do this or is there a way with what I have? help!!! thanks
