  1. hmm, before I say yes to anyone, Vryburgers, do you want to expand on Ameritrash games?
  2. ok i have one, although I don't think anyone will get the answer, but its worth a shot. One of my new favourite hobbies is boargaming, because on cold rainy UK days, you just don't always feel like geocaching What is the difference between a Euro boardgame, and an Ameritrash boardgame? And don't say the continent, because some euro games are designed in USA, and some Ameritrash games in Europe
  3. wow, the pooks! Yes, if you had bought some bug repellant along, you would not have been attacked by those mossies Ok, let me think of a question!
  4. now now Cincol, I think this is actually an interesting question. I will say a walkie talkie type thingamabobby
  5. gosh, no replies on this one yet, thats a lot of work you put in there! From my viewpoint, geocaching is about a nice day out, not so much about getting involved in legal issues. It could indeed be a good idea to have some guys who can do stuff (to put in laymans terms ;o), but are we sure it has to be so corporate, I recon that would put a lot of people off who normally might be interested in such a thing. And are we sure we want to be encouraging all sorts of lawsuits right left and centre? And where is all this income coming from?
  6. it looks like one in the dam wall in some dam just outside durban that i did a few years back, forget the name of the reserve
  7. Hi Vryburgers Well, no one should relog any cache as a found more than once, irrespective of whose cache it is. If you visit someones elses cache that you have found in the past, to drop off a TB, take a friend etc, you must add a note, not log as a find cheers
  8. I was in the area while on holiday recently, and saw this cache on my nuvi. I had a brief read through and it sounded like a well thought out, cunning cache, but such tricky puzzles are not for me. Normally a puzzle of more than 3 star dificulty I tend to ignore, knowing I propably don't have a chance of solving, or that if do, it would take up more time in front of the pc, which I would rather not be doing. To me, my favourite puzzle caches are ones that are solved on site, so you can relax on a good hike in the sun (or shade), have a snack and work on the puzzle (not tooo hard for ones on site!) Great examples of this type of puzzle on site caches are Gold, Da vinci code (to a degree a puzzle), El Georado, The Quest, Earth fire air water, (I haven't done it, but think its something like that,) and of course, my Harry potter and the philisophers cache
  9. The horse fell right at the end, so the jockey jumped off and ran across the line?
  10. Although i guess they are more Gothic. I would have though eVoid would have been the first afro punk band, but i guess not!
  11. as David kramer once said: "Hey, whats this? A gathering of the Cape Chauvinistic Society?"
  12. Maybe the mega event should be 500 cachers doing a group trip down Pristine
  13. hey, surely this forum is about seeing what places one can recognise based on ones caching experiences, not about ones skills at computers Although well done on having such fine computer skills!
  14. Tell us more....................... Well, it was meeting at winter wonderland in hyde park at Christmas time. Noddy was in town, and I was going to meet him there. Now I know where winter wonderland is, and the meeting venue was clearly named in the description, so I didn't bring a GPS. After some pleasant hours of wandering around and looking for the bloody place, it was no where to be found, so I just enjoyed the gluewein and singing moose head by myself and went home!
  15. Yes, nice pic Capewalker, but one can only ask a question if you answer the current one, so question is still on the cows with guns I fear. Although if you ask me "Cows with guns" is a perfect name for a cache
  16. Thats because Cape Town caches are the best
  17. aargh, you beat me to it in the time it took for me to log in!
  18. Thanks malo Mystery My dad had mentioned that to me, although he said it was closing the end of this month, but i guess its open for one more. So get your chance to do it before I disable/archive the cache, it really is a super place to go, especially if you follow my swimming route, and laugh in the face of baboons!
  19. Hey Huskies, I think you asked the question wrong. You asked who ran it, not who won it
