  1. We will be in as long as there are no conflicts with the date. If we are voting - Id rather go north then south (hey - I drive 55 miles south to work - 5 days a week). Why not put a plan together for both areas - c'mon Brian - step up to the plate & put this thing together. - I don't really think I ever use these things correctly so I figured I'd just throw a bunch out there.
  2. How about 1111 - I hear you can just touch caches with a stick after that and anoint them. (Or you could just : Give em the finger!) Personally I'm stopping at 1112 - at that point I will just collect TB's & annoy people in the forums. And BTW ... this is a silly hobby anyway - I spot these caches from my driveway at this point.
  3. I guess I originally missed this post ... Huge Congrats to Trailhound - you are a great finder and you are on an amazing pace. Hope you enjoy this as much as we have for the past few years.
  4. Thanks to everyone for your congrats - this is still a lot of fun for us. Very sad news: Colby, the hermit crab passed away on Friday but we are managing to move on with our lives. You did forget: Spike the Bearded Dragon, Moe the cat & Chayanne the Jack Russell Terrier.
  5. Congrats my friend!! BTW ... Your snake is doing fine.

  7. The entrance fee is $30.00 a person. And $50.00 for dogs ($25.00 for snakes) - that's $220 from you Helmut Since I live in Morris County, I know enterance to the park is free - that includes my dog and my snakes ... even my lizard if, I choose to bring him along ... and maybe even the hermit crab. Anyway, Mark, I live only a few miles from the park - if there is anything I can help you with - let me know.
  8. Skully & Mulder live in Morris County but we will not help with anything We will be there for free food though.
  9. I don't get the negativity toward the rankings. Someone took the time to put this out there and I havn't seen any kudos toward the publisher. I say "thanks" for putting it out there - I'm sure it took a bit of effort to do & I appriciate the work you put into it. For those that don't like it - don't look at it.
  10. Congrats!! I'm with Team DEMP - It was great caching with you, and once again I'm honored that someone chose one of my caches as one of their milestones.
  11. Avroair, You can say that again - I'm still trying to convince Liz that my Legend is actually lost.
  12. I thank everyone for their input. Since I lost my Legend I have been using my old Garmin e-map. That unit eventually gets me to where I want to go but it is very slow to react and is horrible under any kind of tree cover. I use my GPS'r strictually for caching/hiking so I'm looking for the best unit for that application. I'm leaning towards the 60CS or Legend C with the iFinder being a possibility. Any other thoughts?
  13. I know this topic might belong in the GPS Units... forum but I'm really looking for some advice from the cachers I know, who cache in this area. I recently lost my e-trex Legend and need a replacement. I was happy with the unit but would like to get some input as to what might bee a better option.
  14. I'm actually 1st in the Universe. Although I've only logged 883 on earth (my goal is to get to 1112 earth finds), I've found 11,111 caches in other galaxies.
  15. Congrats my friend!!! I'm so happy so many cachers have chosen this as one of their milestone caches ... it's my personal favorite placement.
  16. See, if it were not for Geocaching you guys wouldn't have had that exciting experience - that's exactly why we do this thing .
  17. I work in Edison so I can probably help with that.
  18. Congrats Joe!! It's been a lot of fun finding a bunch of caches with you & Neil this past year - hope to finally make it out to your neck of the woods this year.
  19. Squealy, Just remember ... your snake is still on my dashboard!
  20. I know what you mean - my worst fear was that the cat would bring me a dead snake - kind of like a trophy. This is what happened - the cat was sitting in front of folding doors that conceal the washer & dryer from the rest of the basement. I thought that was strange since he never sits there. I opened the doors and moved some stuff around and found him, alive and well, under a trash basket!
  21. Wow, I can't believe I haven't responded to this thread until now, but I answered "YES" to 10 of the 12 questions, so I guess I have a problem and will seek help. 95% chance I'll be there 90% chance we will all be there.
  22. Q, our Milk snake has been missing for about 2 months. Believe it or not - and thanks to Moe the cat - I found him on Sunday (1/16/05). I know this has nothing to do with caching ... but it is the middle of winter.
  23. Congrats! Great job, my friend. I wish I could have joined you guys - I work only 10 minutes away - but no chance for me to get out on Monday .
